Liftoff. The Artemis II mission launches from NASA's Kennedy Space Center at 6:35 p.m. EDT (2235 UTC), propelling four astronauts on a journey around the Moon. Artemis II will pave the way for future Moon landings, as well as the next giant leap — astronauts on Mars.

NASA has awarded Intuitive Machines a $180.4 million dollar contract under the Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) task order to deliver science and technology payloads to the Lunar South Pole. 🌕 This marks our fifth CLPS mission and the first requiring a larger cargo-class Nova-D lunar lander to deliver payloads and return data while autonomously operating on the lunar surface. This mission will carry seven payloads, including lunar rovers from the Australian Space Agency and Blue Origin's Honeybee Robotics.
