We’re excited to welcome Dr. Carl R. Jenson to our West Hawaii Region Ohana at Kona Community Hospital’s Cancer Center! With more than 40 years of experience in radiation oncology and leadership roles across the country, Dr. Jenson joins us full-time to help elevate care for our community on Hawaiʻi Island. His appointment brings KCH as Hawaii’s only neighbor‐island facility with a fully-staffed permanent oncology team — bringing continuity, expertise and compassion closer to home.

At the heart of great care are great people. We celebrated 303 employees across Kona Community Hospital and Kohala Hospital for their years of service, some spanning nearly four decades. Mahalo for showing up for every patient, every day.
