Representatives from Catholic Bishops’ Conferences, Catholic Religious Institutions, and experts from the Faith-Consistent Investing (FCI) community gathered in Rome for the Conference on Mensuram Bonam, hosted by the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences (PASS). Building on the momentum of the keynote address delivered by Supreme Knight Patrick E. Kelly, among the primary objectives for attendees are debating best practices and building a global network of Mensuram Bonam ambassadors who are willing to assist those seeking to adopt Faith-Consistent Investing guidelines. “The Knights of Columbus is grateful for the continued guidance of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences regarding investments aligned with Catholic social and moral teaching,” said Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly. Mensuram Bonam is crucial because it summons the faithful to a deeper realization of who we are, and what we must do.” PASS also distributed a white paper titled Investing with Faith at the conference. Knights of Columbus Asset Advisors collaborated on the project which demonstrates that investments aligned with Catholic social teaching can both honor the Catholic faith and support long-term financial goals and needs of institutions and individuals. Deepak Devaraj, president and chief investment officer, Knights of Columbus Asset Advisors, added: “Our experience shows that over a full market cycle, faith-consistent investing has been competitive with traditional strategies. KoCAA supports Mensuram Bonam and adheres to the Catholic social and moral guidelines set forth by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. KoCAA offers its clients a strong Catholic difference so they can invest with integrity. With KoCAA’s leadership, institutional and individual investors can invest in ways that honor the Catholic faith and support their long-term needs.” To read the full press release and access the white paper, visit here: https://lnkd.in/e96cjnru

In Into the Breach: the Dignity of Work, Father Dominic Courturier reminds us of the importance of the Sabbath in relation to our work. Spending a day focused on worship and rest gives us necessary grace and prepares us to work the other days of the week. Cor is not built around content, it’s built around encountering Christ alongside other men. Men need more than content, they need brotherhood, accountability, and a place where faith becomes lived instead of discussed. Cor creates space for prayer, formation, and fraternity. Christ-centered brotherhood changes men because men were never meant to pursue holiness alone. Learn more at kofc.org/cor

Knights of Columbus Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly yesterday gratefully accepted the 2026 Path to Peace Award from the Path to Peace Gala Foundation. The Path to Peace Gala Foundation, in support of the work of the Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations in New York and urgent humanitarian causes, honors an individual each year for outstanding service to the cause of peace. The Path to Peace Award was presented to Supreme Knight Kelly by Archbishop Gabriele G. Caccia, Apostolic Nuncio to the United States and Path to Peace Foundation President. The Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations was officially established on April 6, 1964 and has since been a prominent leader in the advancement of peace and justice in the international community, serving as a vehicle for promoting the teachings of the Catholic Church. “On behalf of more than 2.2 million Knights of Columbus around the world, it’s an incredible honor to accept the Path to Peace Award from the Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations,” said Supreme Knight Kelly. “More than 140 years ago, Blessed Michael McGivney founded the Knights on the pillars of charity, unity, and fraternity. Today, we are proud to continue this mission around the world, in our parish councils and communities, and in nations facing the devasting impacts of war and religious intolerance. We pray that our efforts will help to bring peace and ease suffering, as we give witness to the hope that comes from Jesus Christ.” Read more about the Path to Peace Foundation, Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly, and all past award recipients: https://bit.ly/4eSsybX Featured: Supreme Knight Patrick E. The 2026 Warriors to Lourdes pilgrimage will be held in Lourdes, France May 19-25, 2026. Over 200 U.S. wounded warriors, caregivers and volunteers will be in attendance, along with the militaries from over 40 nations. Please join the Knights in praying for our warriors as they seek healing and peace: Almighty God and Father, Look with love upon our men and women in uniform and protect them in their time of need. Give them health and stability and allow them to return to their loved ones whole and unshaken. Be with their families and sustain them in these uncertain times. Grant strength and peace of mind to the Veterans who have given their best for the country they love. Support them in infirmity and in the fragility of old age. Teach us to remember their sacrifices and to express our gratitude. Manifest your tender care to those in the Military Academies who prepare for future service and to those who serve our Nation far from home. Teach us to remember the sacrifices of those whose efforts contribute to ensuring our way of life. Bless and multiply the priests who minister to the faithful of the Archdiocese for the Military Services. Reward their generosity and keep them faithful. Hear us as we present our prayers to You through Christ our Lord. Amen.

PJ Shanahan lived with energy, adventure, and a drive to embrace life to the fullest, completing not one but two bucket lists before a tragic accident in 2010 left him paralyzed. Rather than surrender to despair, PJ turned his suffering into purpose. Through the Lovin’ Life Golf Tournament, he has helped raise money for wheelchairs and support others facing hardship. Rooted in faith and sustained by the love of family, friends, and his brother Knights, PJ continues to inspire those around him with his gratitude, humor, and determination to make a difference.
