Today, 39 KIPP Kansas City students were honored at the Missouri State Capitol with the Missouri Glory Awards. In the early 1920s, 14 virtues—knowledge, liberty, equality, law, justice, fraternity, education, progress, honor, truth, virtue, temperance, enterprise, and charity—were engraved on the Missouri House Chamber walls. The Glory of Missouri Awards were established to recognize students who embody these values in their academic and personal lives. We are incredibly proud of our KIPPsters in grades K–12 who continue to demonstrate leadership, character, and a commitment to excellence. #KIPPKC #StudentAchievement #Leadership #Education

Wear Purple on Wednesday, April 8 💜 At KIPP Kansas City, we are proud to celebrate Purple Up! Day and show our support for our military-connected students and families. This day is a meaningful reminder to recognize the strength, resilience, and sacrifices of children whose parents or loved ones serve in the military. We are grateful for the opportunity to honor them and help create a school community where they feel seen, supported, and valued. We invite our staff, students, and families to wear purple on Wednesday, April 8 as a simple but powerful way to show love and support. When we come together in small ways, it helps our students know they belong. 💜

We were excited to welcome members of the EdOps team from across the country to KIPP Endeavor Elementary while they were in Kansas City for a conference. During their visit, they toured the school and spent time reading with our youngest KIPPsters in classrooms. EdOps partners with KIPP KC and schools nationwide, providing expert support in finance, accounting, and student data management to help schools run smoothly and support student success.
