Did we just find a fast lane for #logistics service providers and automakers? Truck-as-a-service (TaaS) models challenge the traditional fleet approach. Instead of purchasing and owning trucks, companies can subscribe to them. For fleet operators, this means more predictable costs and less asset risk. But for OEMs, the implications are even bigger. Ready to hit the road with your own TaaS model? Start here: https://bit.ly/4uVF0fM Authors: Joachim Deinlein, Nico Schäfer, and Frederik Preuss

At the Gartner Supply Chain Symposium/Xpo 2026 in Barcelona, one message came through clearly: supply chain leaders are being called to move beyond reacting to disruption and toward building truly adaptive, decision-centric organizations. Three themes stood out across the conversations this week: 1. #AI is accelerating the shift from traditional planning to more connected and intelligent decision-making, but lasting impact will depend on pairing technology with the right operating models, capabilities, and ways of working. 2. Resilience is no longer a trade-off against cost or growth. Leading organizations are redesigning their supply chains to be more dynamic, responsive, and able to balance all three at once. 3. The next wave of transformation will be shaped by end-to-end visibility, faster scenario planning, and stronger cross-functional collaboration across the broader ecosystem. It was also a pleasure to continue these discussions beyond the conference floor at our cocktail and dinner reception with clients, partners, and industry leaders. A big thank you to Ingo Schröter, Thomas Fliedner, Julie Burton, Harneet Singh, Manuel Gabler, Charlotte Steiness Jordt, Jens Kragh Lilleskov, and Prokura for helping create such an engaging exchange on the future of supply chain transformation.

Next time you're at the airport, look around. That lounge you’re sitting in? The duty-free store you just walked past? The fast-track security lane you paid for? That traveler spend is increasingly being split between airlines and airports. The passenger journey is one experience—but two very different businesses are competing to profit from it. And the tension between them is reshaping how both sides think about the traveler. Our latest article unpacks where the friction lives and where real value gets created: https://lnkd.in/eHZgS-Mg Authors: Chandresh Malkani, Justin Tucker, and Bayard Bergmann

It’s easy to say you know how different functions of your business are performing. But for many companies, procurement is where net-zero ambitions are either delivered or quietly fall short. In many sectors, upstream activities account for more than 90% of total emissions. And now boards and investors are asking harder questions. Building on the Green Procurement Playbook developed in collaboration with the World Economic Forum, Kearney has launched a new digital assessment tool to benchmark maturity across eight building blocks, compare against peers, and walk away with a prioritized action plan. More consumers are researching on digital platforms than ever, but they're not buying there yet. So, when does that flip? Kearney Partner Katherine Black joined Jeffrey Hayzlett at the NYSE on All Business to explain what it'll take: stronger capabilities, real trust built through experience, and the power of a neighbor saying "I do this through my agent now." Once that word-of-mouth kicks in, especially when consumers see savings in money and time, adoption will move fast. 🎥 Watch the full clip: https://bit.ly/3PBnwGt

Today’s government affairs leaders are operating in a fundamentally different environment. Decisions are moving faster. Stakeholders are more fragmented. Policy priorities can shift quickly. And even when there is alignment at the top, execution is rarely straightforward. So, what does that mean for companies engaging with government in this new operating reality? A few conclusions stand out: - Getting the “yes” is only half the job. A positive signal or high-level agreement is not the finish line. Turning intent into policy, regulation, funding, or implementation requires sustained engagement and follow-through. - Be ready for any scenario. Organizations need an offensive plan for what they want to achieve and a defensive plan for where the conversation could go. The best teams prepare for both the meeting they want and the meeting they may actually have. - A good meeting is not the win. Influence has to extend beyond the room. Companies need to stay engaged across agencies, departments, legislative bodies, and implementation teams until policy is written, released, and operationalized. - Relationships still matter across the system. Executive decision-makers are important, but so are legislators, regulators, staff, career officials, and external stakeholders. Companies that build durable, multichannel relationships now will be better positioned when those relationships matter most. - Traditional lobbying playbooks are no longer enough. Government affairs is becoming a core strategic capability for the C-suite, connecting policy intelligence, enterprise strategy, stakeholder engagement, and operational execution. Our latest Kearney Foresight article breaks down how leading organizations are adapting to this increasingly dynamic landscape and what it takes to build a more effective government affairs capability: https://bit.ly/4wEVlXK

How does your industry score on women’s health at work? In collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)-led Equity 2030 Alliance and Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, we surveyed employers across six industries on their policies, benefits, education, data practices, investment, and advocacy. We mapped each organization against four maturity stages and built the first-ever cross-industry baseline for advancing women’s health in the workplace. Some industries are leading. Some have serious ground to cover. And across the board, one pattern holds among the companies we assessed: the gap isn’t in having the right intentions. It’s in making sure they reach the people who need them most. Swipe to see where your industry ranks. ➡️ Read the full report today: https://bit.ly/4dmntHD #wHealth #WomensHealthiswHealth

Borders don't stop trade. But they often stop trains. Cross-border rail sits at the intersection of trade and connectivity. It's also where execution is the most complex and delays are longest. That tension is exactly why they matter: when they work, they unlock entire corridors of economic value.
