Mike later transitioned into major gifts fundraising, managing relationships with high-net-worth donors and institutional partners at organizations including NPR, NYU Law, and Cornell Tech, where he developed and executed fundraising strategies and partnered cross-functionally to support capital initiatives. In their fireside chat, Steve Beard, Chairman & CEO of Covista, and Martin Whittaker, CEO of Just Capital, explored what responsible leadership really looks like in the age of AI. At the center of the conversation was a clear throughline: the companies navigating transformation best are investing in people just as intentionally as they are investing in technology. From navigating complexity to building trust, this was a grounded look at what it takes to lead in a moment where both the stakes and the pace of change are only increasing.

Our latest #AI polling shows where public and investor perceptions align and diverge when it comes to workforce support. One of the biggest areas of disagreement? Only 34% of #investors believe its critical for companies to help AI-displaced workers with #outplacement services, as opposed to 56% of the public.
