The commute from Brooklyn to Manhattan isn't that bad... right? Our customer Kesten made the trip to join us in the office for OnePay Talks — because we start every team-wide meeting the same way: With our mission: Better Money Makes Life Better. With our vision: One Place to Money. And by hearing from a customer.

Millions of customers. Hundreds of features. One question: what should we show each person next? At OnePay, we built a shared Next-Best-Action engine to help answer that — learning from hundreds of signals to rank what’s most relevant in real time. The result: 2–3x higher engagement, without siloed targeting. Under the hood👇 https://lnkd.in/ezkX6iGk

Lloyd Blankfein: Former CEO of Goldman Sachs. Financial Times Person of the Year (2009). Author of Streetwise. And as of this week, a OnePay Talks guest. Lloyd on benefits, burdens, and how to think about both:

AML investigations have long been slow and resource intensive. One alert can take hours or even days to investigate. As our business scales, so does the volume of investigations. So, we rethought the process. We built an AI agent to do the legwork, analyzing thousands of alerts and delivering comprehensive, high-quality reports for expert analysts to make the final call. Efficiency up. Insight deeper. Same high bar for compliance. Read how it works: https://lnkd.in/emX_5BFn

Lloyd Blankfein visited the OnePay office today. Of the 17 years I spent at Goldman Sachs, Lloyd was CEO for 11. My earliest memories of his leadership were during the financial crisis. At the time, I was on an H-1B visa – which meant that Goldman making it through wasn’t just about holding onto my job; it was about holding on to my ability to stay in the U.S. In steadying the firm, Lloyd actually helped secure my future here. In my later years, I was fortunate to work with him directly and get to know him personally. The first time a Lloyd email notification popped up on my phone, I took a screenshot and sent it to my wife without any commentary (we both knew why I was sending it). It was hard to believe that the CEO of Goldman Sachs was messaging a kid from Karachi. Only in America. I have an even deeper appreciation for Lloyd’s story after reading his memoir Streetwise. In all my years of knowing Lloyd, I had virtually no idea about his humble beginnings growing up in Brooklyn. And while Karachi and Brooklyn are worlds apart, I smiled reading about his first experience with artichoke (mine was in my 20s at a Goldman dinner as a banking analyst) and his rough introduction to steak tartare (I still stick to well done). Lloyd: thank you for sharing your story, for inspiring thousands of people like me at the firm, and for your mentorship, support, and friendship.

A real example (one of hundreds) of AI changing how we work at OnePay ... In the old days: 1. Someone on our legal team would have details on how a feature works. 2. They'd track down a PM for intent. 3. They'd talk to an engineer about implementation details. 4. And even after speaking to product / eng / compliance, they might still have some open questions. Today our employees just ask Tokki. Tokki is our internal AI agent that: • Is specialized in OnePay's codebase. • Has deep product context. • Has completed 20,000+ tasks in 4 weeks. • Is being used by more than 75% of our team. Tokki was built as a “labor of love” by Brandon Tallent, Patrick Laflamme, and Antriksh Vijay between meetings at an offsite a few weeks ago. (And for those tracking: Tokki is Korean for "Rabbit.")

They lead (Doug McMillon, former CEO of Walmart) They interview (Nayeema Raza, Host of Smart Girl Dumb Questions) They write (Parul Somani, author of The Path of Least Regret) They build (Guillaume Pousaz, Founder & CEO of Checkout.com) They invest (Meyer "Micky" Malka, Founder of Ribbit Capital) We just get to ask questions. A few snippets from some of the guests we’ve had lately on OnePay Talks. 🎤
