Updates

  • Give a shoutout to our Casper, Wyoming branch! The newest location in the Sioux group. . Beyond the cowboy boots, hats, and belt buckles, this team has hit the ground running in a big way. Through their hands-on training lab, they've been getting contractors up to speed on the latest industry updates and equipment changes — filling a real gap in technical support across the state. Pair that with dependable delivery, and they've managed to break into a new market and drive impressive growth, all while bringing a fresh counter team up to speed. Oh, and did we mention the counter days come with BBQ brisket? . This team is tight knit, pulls together when it counts, whether that's navigating Wyoming's famously unpredictable weather or going the extra mile for their contractors. Leave some kind words for the Casper team below!

  • Say hi to the team at the Savannah, Georgia branch! This branch is an example of our commitment to supporting HVAC professionals while staying deeply connected to the community they serve. . Last year, this branch has supported several local and national charitable organizations, including Operation Homefront, St. Joseph’s/Candler Hospital, Hancock Day School, and even more. And while some chapters came to an end (happy retirement to their longtime manager Jim Wynn), owners Billy and Emily are expanding the level of service and support available to their contractors. . Built around the needs of contractors and driven by people who understand the work, we shoutout the community commitment and team development showcased by the Johnstone Supply Savannah branch. Leave some kind words for the team below!

This week, our team traveled to Washington, D.C. to meet with industry leaders and discuss how policy decisions on Capitol Hill, from expiring tax cuts to evolving EPA regulations. These things directly affect our suppliers, the products we carry, the HVAC industry, our technicians, and the communities we serve, which is why it’s so important that we take advantage of these opportunities. Thank you to Ted Cruz, and the offices of Beth Van Duyne, Chuck Fleischman, Ashley Moody, Ron Wyden, Steve Daines, Maria Cantwell and Maxine Dexter, M.D., FACP, for your time and your dedication to understanding the real-world needs of our industry, and thanks to HARDI for the great opportunity.

  • Another highlight from last weeks’ Johnstone annual conference is from Judi Carpenter. Hear how she and her team created the Johnstone University Tech Fundamentals FLEX program with the express intent to address the growing shortage of HVACR technicians as the current workforce ages and retires. The Power of Johnstone is our ability to connect our contractors with the training they need and deserve. The hybrid learning techniques align with the NATE knowledge areas and ultimately, grow the next generation of HVACR professionals with Johnstone.

  • We're proud to recognize The Chemours Company as our 2025 Supplier of the Year. This honor goes to a supplier who has exemplified what it means to be a partner. Chemours aligned with our A2L strategy when others didn’t and as a result, we were able to provide our customers with the confidence they needed to keep moving, and stay A2L ready. We're incredibly thankful for the support and shared commitment to our future and we’re excited for what's to come in 2026. Congratulations!
