66% of workers say AI is already changing their jobs. Only 1 in 3 has the training to keep up. That gap has real consequences. And closing it can't wait. That's why JFF and HP partnered with Readocracy.com to launch Thinking Through AI, a free AI literacy app that turns everyday learning into verifiable credentials. Read an article. Watch a video. Earn a credential you can actually share. This is what accessible, skills-based learning looks like. Sign up for free access today: https://hubs.la/Q04gS8H40

Not all credentials are created equal—and that’s especially true for learners with the most at stake. First-gen students, working adults, underserved learners—they’re told that education is the path to opportunity. But when credentials don’t lead to good jobs or career advancement, these students pay the highest price in time, money, and trust. As Greg DeSantis says "We need to stop treating all credentials as equals. If a credential doesn't lead to better outcomes, we have to ask: why does it exist?" We need a system where credentials are transparent, trustworthy, and designed to deliver. One that’s rooted in equity, grounded in skills, and aligned with real-world outcomes. JFF's vision for credentials that carry value is anchored in making this system real. Listen to what Greg has to say below and read our piece to explore how we envision the future education-to-career journey supported by credentials of value >> https://hubs.la/Q04g2m4h0 #TransformWorkandLearning #ReimagineEducation #CredentialsofValue …less

Learners and employers alike are questioning the value of today’s credentials—and for good reason. Too many fall short on the basics: cost, time, and relevance to quality jobs. At Jobs for the Future, we’re flipping the script: * Skills are the currency * Credentials are the signal * Economic advancement is the outcome Meena Naik, Senior Director, Education, JFF said it best "when a credential helps you articulate the skills you've gained and what you can do--that's when it becomes a credential of value." If credentials don’t reflect the skills that matter—or open real doors—they don’t deliver value. It's time we build credentials that move with people, unlock opportunity, and carry weight across a lifetime. Listen to what Meena has to say below and read our blog to explore how we envision the future education-to-career journey supported by credentials of value >> https://hubs.la/Q04g2hXh0 #TransformWorkandLearning #ReimagineEducation #credentialsofvalue

The system is flooded with credentials—degrees, certificates, and micro-pathways—but far too many fall short. Learners and workers are doing the math, and they’re right to ask: What is this really worth? In our Credentials of Value piece, we lay out what needs to change. We call on postsecondary leaders, career pathways practitioners, and funders to join us in reshaping the system around credentials that are: - Built around transferable, in-demand skills - Designed with quality jobs and economic mobility in mind - Trusted by employers and recognized by learners - Transparent about the outcomes they deliver Follow the link to read our POV and lets work together to make credentials of value the new standard >> https://hubs.la/Q04g2jr30 #TransformWorkandLearning #ReimagineEducation
