  • 🇺🇸 We were honored to join our CEO, Joe Punaro, to celebrate receiving the Distinguished Service Award for Veteran-Owned Business of the Year (Established Business) from the Northern Virginia Chamber (NVC) yesterday.   This recognition reflects the commitment of our entire team and our mission to serve veterans and their caregivers with excellence, compassion, and purpose. At IronArch, more than 35% of our workforce are veterans, and their continued service, leadership, and dedication shape who we are as a company every day.    During National Military Appreciation Month, this recognition carries even deeper meaning. We are reminded of the sacrifices made by so many service members, veterans, and families in defense of our nation. Their service inspires our work and fuels our gratitude. We remain committed to building a company culture grounded in service, accountability, and care for one another—values that continue to guide our mission and our impact.    A special thank you to our friends at FMP (Federal Management Partners, LLC.) for joining us in celebrating this meaningful achievement! #MilitaryAppreciationMonth #VeteranOwned #SDVOSB #VeteranEmployer

  • Our team members who attended the 2026 Code for America Summit in Chicago last week left energized, inspired, and ready to bring new ideas back to the work of improving digital services used by Veterans and their caregivers.    The Summit reinforced something we see every day in civic tech: modernizing government services requires both operational efficiency and deep understanding of the people those services are designed to support. Across federal, state, and local governments, practitioners shared a common commitment to cutting through bureaucratic friction, modernizing outdated systems, and making services faster, simpler, and more effective for the public.    A few themes especially stood out to our team:  → Using AI thoughtfully to reduce administrative burden, improve accuracy, and help teams focus on higher-value work  → Streamlining service delivery so people can access critical services more quickly and efficiently  → Breaking down silos across agencies and organizations to improve collaboration and accelerate delivery  → Designing services around real user needs to increase trust, usability, and adoption  → Remembering that “we move through complexity so our users don’t have to”    One of the most valuable parts of the experience was hearing how organizations across the country are navigating many of the same challenges we face every day — balancing mission needs, modernization priorities, implementation hurdles, and resource constraints while continuing to deliver measurable, meaningful impact for the public. It was especially energizing to see teams across federal, state, and municipal government learning from one another, sharing practical lessons, and finding ways to move important work forward even in complex environments.    A recurring takeaway throughout the conference was that meaningful progress rarely comes from a single breakthrough or quick fix. Instead, it comes from collaboration, persistence, and continuous improvement — teams working together to chip away at difficult problems and create better outcomes over time.    We’re bringing these insights back to our teams, clients, and communities — and getting to work.    Thank you to Code for America for creating space for these conversations.  #CodeForAmerica #CivicTech #DigitalServices #GovTech #PublicSector #HumanCenteredDesign

  • Government modernization isn’t just about technology—it’s about designing services and products that truly work for the people who rely on them and move critical missions forward.    In our latest insight (co-written by Jessica Woodin and Elena Naids), we share how IronArch’s experience team has evolved from project-based UX efforts to a community-driven, human-centered design practice that scales across programs. By connecting teams, sharing insights, and embedding research and design into delivery, we’re helping our partners move faster, reduce rework, and improve outcomes.    The result: more consistent, user-informed digital services that better serve Veterans, families, warfighters, and our federal government partners at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the United States Department of War.    Read more about how we’re putting people at the center of modernization: https://lnkd.in/e2pMu46R #HumanCenteredDesign #DigitalServices #GovTech #UX #IronArch
