We are excited to announce the successful close of financing commitments to support the Darden solar + storage facility in #California's #CentralValley. Located on privately owned retired agricultural land, Darden is expected to generate up to 1.15 GWac / 1.6 GWp of solar power and will include 4.6 GWh of battery storage by 2028. This isn’t just another deal. This historic transaction—the first announced financing for IPX Power since our formation in March 2026—is a testament to the powerful role IPPs are playing in the #energytransition. First Up: Athos III (Riverside County, CA) ☀️ Solar: 224 MWac/310 MWp 🔋 Battery: 448 MWh of storage ⚡ Power: 94,000 homes annually Riverside County averages 272 days of sunshine per year. In operation since 2022, Athos III is case study in how clean energy can deliver critical infrastructure with union labor and American-made panels, batteries and steel.

According to #SEIA, solar is expected to account for roughly half of new energy capacity each year through 2060. As IPX Power CCO Todd Johansen said at the #WSPP Spring 2026 conference, "We've got a lot of work to do." Our sleeves are rolled-up! We're already partnering up with many WSPP members to deliver #CleanEnergy and critical infrastructure for the great state of #California, including @PenCleanEnergy, Calpine, Southern California Edison (SCE), Silicon Valley Clean Energy, Clean Energy Alliance, San Diego Community Power, Central Coast Community Energy, Ava Community Energy, and San Francisco Public Utilities Commission #CleanPowerSF.
