The detachment serves as NUWC’s forward operational presence, overseeing program execution, safety, security, personnel administration, environmental compliance, and efficient use of government resources while supporting multiple warfare divisions. 💼 What You’ll Do: 🔹 Conduct technical analysis and performance evaluation of Undersea Warfare (USW) combat systems 🔹 Support CSSQT, Developmental Testing (DT), Integrated Testing (IT), and Operational Testing (OT) events 🔹 Reconstruct and analyze test data from sonar and combat systems (e.g., hull sonar, towed arrays, LAMPS, SVTT) 🔹 Apply operations research, statistical modeling, and quantitative analysis to assess system effectiveness 🔹 Support at-sea and shipboard testing events, including real-time and post-mission data analysis 🔹 Develop technical reports, briefings, and recommendations for Navy stakeholders 🔹 Assist in estimating resources, schedules, and costs for test and analysis efforts 🔹 Participate in Navy training to support Tactical Qualification System (TQS) requirements 🔹 Provide analytical support for USW combat systems evaluation and fleet readiness initiatives 🎯 What You Bring: 🔹 Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related quantitative field 🔹 3–7 years of experience in operations research, systems analysis, or data analysis 🔹 Active DoD Secret clearance (required) 🔹 Strong understanding of statistical analysis, modeling, and quantitative methods 🔹 Familiarity with U.S. Navy systems, sonar, or undersea warfare operations 🔹 U.S. work authorization required (no sponsorship) #NowHiring #OperationsResearch #DataScience #UnderseaWarfare #USNavy #NUWC #DefenseJobs #SystemsAnalysis #Sonar #FleetReadiness #MissionCritical
