  • So proud of our alums for working hard and pursuing excellence. Congrats, Blake!

So happy to announce my 3rd successful time at the AAF's National Student Advertising Competition with tye advertising developers club (ADs). This year our client was the NFL and I think we were the real MVPs. Everyone put in so much time and effort and it was so incredibly worth it and as one of the Co Vice President's I am so incredibly proud of each and everyone of our members. We couldn't have made this amazing campaign and presentation without you. Here's to the best campaign we've had in years and even better ones in the future.

  • So proud of our alumni! Thanks for sharing your journey with us, Nate.

Yesterday, I had the honor of returning to my middle school, HYDE PARK DAY SCHOOL, an institution that had a huge impact on my life. If you're unfamiliar with Hyde Park Day School, their mission is “We educate bright students with learning disabilities in order to prepare them for successful transitions to mainstream public, private, or parochial schools in their home communities,” and this has certainly been true for me as I've journeyed forward to Wolcott College Prep and then to DePaul University. It meant a lot to share my story about how Hyde Park taught me that everyone has different strengths and weaknesses, and most importantly, how a learning disability isn’t a disability but a strength. Hyde Park Day School gave me a community that believed in me and helped me grow more confident in myself, both inside and outside the classroom. In my conversation, I hope the students were able to take a few lessons from my story and that they gained further confidence and belief in themselves, that they will succeed no matter how challenging things may feel academically or personally at times. Finally, I would like to thank Casey Crnich and Shawnee Newsome for the opportunity to return and speak.
