At HOLT, we believe strong communities are built through collaboration, service, and investing in the places where we live and work. Thank you to these organizations for the work they do every day and for allowing us to be a small part of it. HOLT Architects was proud to partner with Dataflow Inc. as a sign sponsor for this year’s Foodnet Meals on Wheels Mac & Cheese Bowl. Events like this help support Foodnet’s important mission of providing nutritious meals and meaningful connection to members of our community. We are grateful to support organizations that make such a positive impact throughout Tompkins County. In addition, members of the HOLT team recently participated in Habitat for Humanity of Tompkins and Cortland Counties’ annual Women Build event. Spending the day volunteering alongside community members and industry partners was a rewarding opportunity to support affordable housing initiatives and help create lasting change. #Community #Architecture #TompkinsCounty #HabitatForHumanity #Foodnet #WomenBuild #PlacesToLive #PlacesToHeal #PlacesToLearn

HOLT Architects is proud to share that the renovation of Lavery Library at St. John Fisher University has received a Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) Rochester Chapter Award in the Value Engineering category. This award recognizes creative, collaborative solutions that successfully meet project budget demands while maintaining the integrity of the design vision and overall project goals. We are honored to see the project recognized for demonstrating how collaboration, technical rigor, and strategic problem-solving can create lasting value for both institutions and their communities. #architecture #highereducation #librarydesign #valueengineering #CSI #rochesterny #placestolearn

For more than 63 years, HOLT Architects has been designing environments that strengthen communities across New York State and beyond. Founded in 1963, our firm has grown through a commitment to thoughtful design, lasting client relationships, and a belief that architecture has the power to positively impact how people heal, learn, and live. From healthcare and higher education to housing and community-focused projects, our history is rooted in collaboration, innovation, and service. While our tools and technologies have evolved over the decades, our core mission has remained the same: creating enduring, sustainably designed spaces that improve quality of life for the people who use them every day. As we look toward the future, we remain grateful for the clients, partners, and communities who have trusted us along the way — and excited for the projects and relationships still to come. #architecture #design #healthcaredesign #highereducation #housingdesign #sustainability #placestoheal #placestolearn #placestolive

HOLT is really proud to have designed the multi-family housing component of this project (which was selected as the New York State Association for Affordable Housing Upstate project of the Year for 2025), as well as our continued work with Ithaca Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc. (INHS) and New York State Homes & Community Renewal. #placestolive #architecture #affordablehousing
What if your apartment complex came with a preschool? That's exactly what HCR and Ithaca Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc. (INHS) built at Village Grove in Trumansburg, NY — an affordable housing community where early education isn't an afterthought, it's the centerpiece. Families here aren't just saving on rent. They're saving on childcare through income-based scholarships and sliding-scale tuition. They're saving on energy bills thanks to a geothermal initiative. And they're part of HCR's broader statewide effort to make safe, high-quality, sustainable housing accessible to everyone. This is affordable housing done right. Kate G. de la Garza

HOLT is excited to see this funding announcement for East Hill Medical Center and Mozaic. HOLT is the architect for East Hill’s new facility, which will offer behavioral health, dental, and primary care services. In addition, this is another mall-to-medical office building conversion for HOLT. We are excited by the opportunity and challenge of reinvigorating existing retail spaces into environments that provide needed healthcare services to communities. The Mozaic project pictured in the article is the organization’s Center for Community Arts and Technology, which HOLT was proud to design. #placestoheal #placestolearn #architecture #accesibledesign #healthcare #communityimpact #auburnny https://lnkd.in/eHJe2DBN

This is a great project and a great team! HOLT is proud of the part we played.
While the doors are already open at the new Guthrie Community Credit Union, the former building is coming down, closing one chapter and fully making way for the next. Thank you to everyone who has been involved in this project! #LeChase #ProjectManager #Construction
