A room of women leading the future of cardiovascular care. Clinicians, founders, investors, advocates, and patients, all in one place because the conversation about women's heart health is finally being had at the level it deserves. What I took from the Women's Heart Health Summit was not a single statistic, though there were many that deserve attention. It was the recognition that the people designing the next era of women's cardiovascular care are no longer outliers in their own field. They are the field. The work ahead is technical, structural, and clinical. The progress I saw this week was that more of us are doing it together. Grateful for the company.

As our third annual summit comes to a close, we couldn’t be prouder of the community that came together in Boca Raton to help change that. ❤️ Thank you to every leader across healthcare, technology, research, and advocacy who joined us this week to strengthen a growing movement for women’s hearts. Menopause is treated as a reproductive health issue in most health plan strategies. Clinically, it's a cardiovascular inflection point. When estrogen drops, blood pressure doesn't inch upward—it accelerates. Stage 2 hypertension carries a 250% higher heart attack risk in women than in men. The early warning signs, like hot flashes, are indicators of advancing heart disease. Most plans are categorizing them as quality-of-life concerns, and missing that affects what the plan pays 12 to 36 months later.
