A customer in Iowa was having issues with downtime between a cartoner machine and case packing machine forcing operators to correct before operations could start up again. Facing production inefficiency and limited space in the plant, they turned to Harris for a solution. Working with the customer, our conveyors team developed a multi-layer accumulation system to absorb downtimes, auto-adjustable rail systems to accommodate for different sized and weighted cartons and a full control systems to monitor the equipment.
