Mental Health Awareness Month is a good reminder that taking care of yourself rarely comes down to one thing. It is a collection of small, consistent habits that add up over time — and for our members, a regular massage is often part of that routine. The research supports it. Studies have shown massage therapy is associated with measurable decreases in cortisol and increases in serotonin and dopamine, markers tied to stress, mood, and emotional balance.
