The ceremony, held on May 18, celebrated the vital behind-the-scenes foundation that powers the international entertainment industry. VFS took home the top honor for its outstanding achievements in physical production, sustainability and community impact. VFS continues to cement its place as one of the world’s premiere destinations for film and television production, and we at Hackman Capital are honored to own and operate this crown-jewel of studios. We’re thrilled that Ryan Coogler’s 2026 film Sinners won four Oscars after a record-breaking 16 nominations. The film used Second Line Stages, New Orleans largest film studio, for major production—including interior juke joint scenes and extensive prep. We are beyond thrilled to have hosted His Majesty King Charles III at Hackman Capital’s #HCP’s Eastbrook Studios London. His Majesty met students from Film Barking & Dagenham’s MAKE IT HERE program, which provides students with skill-based educational opportunities so they can enter the film sector, particularly in roles behind the camera. Hackman Capital Partners is proud to support MAKE IT HERE as a founding and funding partner.

The 21-acre, BREEAM Excellent-certified facility, located in Dagenham, East London, is set to bring fresh capacity and #innovation to the UK’s creative landscape with 12 purpose-built soundstages ranging from 16,000 to 32,000 square feet, up to 50-foot clear heights, gantries, and operable acoustic walls that allow stages to be combined for larger builds. Hackman Capital’s landmark film and TV studio in the UK - its newest ground-up, purpose-built #productionfacility - is a milestone in #sustainable construction, #creativeindustry growth, and community #regeneration. The expansive 21-acre, BREEAM Excellent-certified campus, located in Dagenham, East London, is one of the most advanced of its time.   Hackman Capital’s 19 iconic studios across North America, the UK and Ireland have played host to hundreds of beloved shows and movies - from Sesame Street to Seinfeld, Sex and the City and The Sopranos, from Braveheart to E.T. and Avatar, and from The Avengers and Captain America to The Devil Wears Prada. As the UK film industry goes from strength to strength, we’re excited to see what hits come out of Eastbrook Studios. It opened earlier this year and is already experiencing a wave of activity as it welcomes new tenants.
