What a weekend for H2 Jacksonville! On the course, our team was alongside St. Vincent's HealthCare physicians supporting 1,500+ athletes competing in IRONMAN Jacksonville to keep them moving and helping them cross the finish line strong. Then we hit the sand. With Mayo Clinic, our clinicians were courtside with 150 beach volleyball teams at the First Coast Volleyball Association tournament. We loved supporting the players' performance, recovery, and everything in between. Two completely different stages. One consistent presence. From the gymnastics floor to the hand therapy table, Lindsey Snow, OT, CHT, has always been fascinated by movement. A former competitive gymnast and coach, Lindsey followed that passion into athletic training, occupational therapy, and eventually hand therapy. “I always loved the human body movement and biomechanics of the body and all the things. So I knew from there I wanted to do something that studied movement.” Today, Lindsey helps patients recover after hand injuries and surgery, rebuild confidence, and return to the daily activities that matter most. “I love the teamwork. I love the mentorship, working with my peers, working with support staff, referring providers, all with one common goal. And that is to help the patient achieve whatever independence it is that they are looking for.” For Lindsey, that team approach is one of the best parts of working at H2 Health. “What I love about H2 Health is that we have very close relationships with referring providers, meaning we're often observing them in surgery, we are in constant communication.” For students, new graduates, or therapists interested in building a career in OT or hand therapy, Lindsey’s story is a great reminder: follow what interests you, keep learning, and choose a team that helps you grow.
