We’re proud to share that Dr. Ben Thompson has been named 2026 Physician of the Year by North Carolina’s Association of Hospice and Home Care. This prestigious annual award honors a North Carolina physician who demonstrates a deep commitment to supporting hospice patients who wish to remain at home. Dr. Thompson was recognized for his collaborative spirit and dedication to advancing hospice care — from sharing his expertise through in-services, to consulting with interdisciplinary teams, reviewing policies and procedures, and advocating for greater knowledge within the communities he serves.
