Community Impact Day 2026! This year, we spent the day at Evergreen Commons to help get their outdoor spaces ready for warmer weather and to prep indoor spaces for new uses. Evergreen Commons is a non-profit that provides an incredible environment for those 55 and older to fill their days with holistic wellness. With exercise facilities, libraries, cafes, billiards rooms, woodworking shops, and more, it’s an incredible organization that we feel so lucky to have in our community. Thanks to Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce for another amazing Community Impact Day and for connecting us with more great people.

I am not sure there is anything better for team building than giving of your time to help others. Our leadership team spent the morning helping to pack meals at the AMAZING Kids’ Food Basket in Muskegon … what a great organization! Take a quick walk through our school! For this year’s EDspaces booth, we set out to create an authentic representation of a school floor plan with a core classroom on one end, a Media Center/Resource Room on the other end, and a functional hallway connecting them. Every piece was thoughtfully selected to support student agency, flexibility, choice, belonging, differentiated learning, and sensory regulation. Our Supportive Spaces Collection makes appearances in every area. True to size architectural door swing symbols highlight their ability to roll through doors, move room to room, and extend learning into those in between areas. By thinking through every small detail and making Supportive Spaces available everywhere, we can empower educators and support the development of ALL students.
