  • Grateful to be recognized alongside the incredible work happening across our network. The St. Louis Area Foodbank is a powerful example of what it looks like when neighbors show up for neighbors — and when partners like P&G and Cascade help make that possible at scale. Thank you to TIME and Procter & Gamble for this recognition, and for shining a light on the communities we're proud to serve together. #ActsOfGood #TIME101 #EndHunger

At TIME100 this year, we made room for one more honoree. Join us in congratulating this year's TIME101 recipient, Feeding America and spotlighting the incredible work of network member, St. Louis Area Foodbank in supporting communities facing food insecurity. Through P&G and Cascade's partnership with Feeding America, we’ve helped provide families with both meals and everyday essentials that support the cleaning, health and hygiene needs of communities. For generations, we’ve been committed to helping communities where we live and work to grow and thrive, including during natural disasters and other crises. Partnerships like Feeding America are critical to extending that support to families across the country in meaningful ways. • Food insecurity impacts millions of people across the U.S. — including working families, children, seniors and communities in every part of the country.   We appreciated the opportunity to join leaders from Long Island Cares, Inc | The Harry Chapin Food Bank, Harvest Hope Food Bank, Connecticut Foodshare, Feeding San Diego and Food Share of Ventura County for a thoughtful conversation about hunger in America and the importance of continued awareness, partnership and action.   Thank you to the team behind A Conversation with Carl (Carl Leibowitz) for helping elevate this important discussion and creating space for meaningful dialogue around the realities many communities face every day.   Watch the full conversation here: https://lnkd.in/gvZugPgf   #EndHunger #FoodInsecurity #FeedingAmerica

What does it take for a neighbor managing a chronic illness to access the nutritious food and resources they need to thrive? This week at the 6th Annual Food as Medicine Summit, Feeding America’s Chief Health, Research & Evaluation Officer, Melanie Hall MS, RD shared insights on what’s possible when food banks and health care partners work together to make it easier for neighbors facing hunger to access medically supportive food. Joined by Amy Flowers of the National Association of Community Health Centers, Melanie presented findings from Feeding America’s three-year Food as Medicine 3.0 (FAM3) program, a national effort spanning 21 food banks, 13 states and more than 50 health care sites that’s transforming food banks into strategic health partners at scale. Supported by Elevance Health Foundation’s commitment to advancing Food as Medicine, the program uses nutrition as a powerful tool to strengthen the connection between access to nutritious food and long-term health and well-being for over 160,000 households. Together, food banks and health care partners meet neighbors facing hunger where they are through trusted relationships built on dignity, choice and community. Comprehensive findings will be released this summer. Thank you to Elevance Health Foundation for investing in this work, and to the neighbors, food banks and health care partners who brought FAM3 to life. #FoodAsMedicine #FAFoodAndHealth

Our new CEO, Denis McDonough, showed what "Better Together" looks like with Capital Area Food Bank this past weekend. We look forward to continuing to partner with food banks nationwide to help communities access the food they need to thrive. 🧡

One of the best parts of stepping into this role is getting out into the community and learning directly from the people who make this work possible. This past Saturday in Maryland, I spent time with one of Capital Area Food Bank's nonprofit distribution partners, meeting neighbors and helping deliver food. Moments like this are a powerful reminder that this work is about people. About dignity. About showing up for one another. This is what “Better Together” looks like. Neighbors, partners, and communities coming together to ensure everyone has access to the food they need to thrive. I’m grateful to be part of a network that lives this every day and excited to continue listening, learning, and serving alongside all of you. #BetterTogether #FeedingAmerica #CapitalAreaFoodBank #LeadershipInAction #CommunityInAction #EndHunger

  • We’re proud to be named alongside Elevance Health Foundation as a Gold Winner at the 2026 Halo Awards, presented by Engage for Good! At a time when nearly 48 million people in the U.S. experience food insecurity, the vital link between access to healthy food and long-term health and well-being has never mattered more. Through the Food as Medicine 3.0 program—a three-year national effort reaching communities across the U.S.—Feeding America and Elevance Health Foundation worked hand-in-hand with partner food banks and health care partners to support neighbors in accessing the medically supported food they need to manage chronic illness and improve their well-being. Together, we’re demonstrating that a Food as Medicine approach is a powerful tool for better health. Thank you to Elevance Health Foundation for your visionary investment in this work. This recognition reflects the power of collective action in our mission to end hunger. Learn more about our partnership: https://lnkd.in/gs6aSg7f #EFG2026 #HaloAwards

  • Some partnerships are measured in years. This one is measured in decades. 🎉 This week, we’re proud to join Nationwide in celebrating 100 years of building stronger communities. For more than 40 years, Nationwide has shown a deep, lasting commitment to hunger relief, and we’re honored to call them a partner. From Nationwide and Nationwide Foundation’s first involvement in hunger relief in central Ohio in 1981, to a national Feeding America partnership that now reaches food banks coast to coast, their support has helped ensure neighbors have access to the food they need to thrive. We’re proud to stand alongside you as a long-time partner. Congratulations, Nationwide. #EndHunger #CommunityImpact #Partnership

  • Across farms, stores and supply chains, perfectly good food is at risk of not being eaten. The Feeding America network operates in real time—moving quickly, safely and at scale to help ensure surplus food reaches neighbors while it still can. When you give, you help keep food in motion—strengthening a nationwide network that delivers for communities across the country. Right now, thanks to generous match partners Sheryl Sandberg & Tom Bernthal, your gift can go even further. 🧡 Give now to help move food to neighbors: bit.ly/4sxNDwn

  • Across the Feeding America network, registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs) and nutrition and dietetics technicians, registered (NDTRs) help ensure food banks provide not just meals, but nutritious foods that support health and wellbeing. From increasing access to nourishing foods to sharing practical nutrition guidance with families, their expertise helps build stronger communities. As we end #NationalNutritionMonth, we’re proud to celebrate the nutrition professionals across our network and in partnership with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics to help ensure everyone has a seat at the table.
