Earth Day is a global event dedicated to raising awareness about environmental protection and promoting sustainable practices. Our Parkshore Juanita Bay project is a shining example of sustainable building practices, having achieved LEED Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Exxel’s project team restored a critical salmon-spawning stream in Janita Creek, including eradicating invasive species, adding downed trees and stumps to create animal habitats, and installing a walking path with viewing areas and benches.
