Over the past 9 years, I’ve been holding this close, dreaming of the day I could finally share it. Yuval Aloni, with whom I joined forces in The Zell Entrepreneurship Program at Reichman University, approached me in 2016 with an idea that redefines banking. From the first moment he explained it, I felt this was "IT" - this would be the big, meaningful thing I do in my career. It would disrupt and reimagine an ancient industry that hasn’t changed in hundreds of years. There was a lot of skepticism from all around: “You’re leaving your job to take such a risk?” “You’re going to open a bank?” I understood the risks, but that didn’t deter me because the opportunity was so immense. I could feel the impact in my bones, the type of value it would bring to people, families, and businesses of all sizes - the world. I knew in my gut that it was the right move for me. "Everything you’ve done up until this point was preparing you for this moment”. 9 years ago, Yuval Aloni told me that, straight off the conversation. He didn’t wait. Back then, I was already working as a software engineer for over 20 years. After working my a** off for so many years, I made a good exit. I was done with chasing more money. I needed something for the soul. I wanted to build something meaningful that would make an impact on people's lives. That would change the standards of an industry so it will benefit all of us. That’s when I met Yuval Aloni. "Everything you’ve done up until this point was preparing you for this moment”. 30 minutes after he told me that , I had to agree. That conversation happened back in 2016. It led to meeting Shir Raanan, and launching the biggest professional adventure of my life. We’ve been building esh for 9 years. "בחיים לא תצליחו להקים בנק." את המשפט הזה שמעתי שוב ושוב במשך 9 שנים. מבנקאים. ממנהלים בכירים בהייטק. מאנשי עסקים עם ניסיון של עשרות שנים. שמעתי את זה ברגעי ההתחלה, כשהרעיון של esh היה רק ניצוץ. שמעתי את זה אחרי שכבר הקמנו את החברה עם Shir Raanan ו-Alex Liverant. שמעתי את זה כשכבר היה מוצר ראשון באוויר. גם אחרי שניר צוק הצטרף כדירקטור ומשקיע. גם אחרי שקיבלנו רישיון בנק רשמי בדצמבר 2022. אפילו אחרי שכלל ביטוח הצטרפה כשותפה. ועדיין - ידענו. ידענו שיש כאן משהו אחר. ידענו שאפשר לשנות תעשייה בת יותר מ־400 שנה. ידענו שבנקאות יכולה להיראות אחרת. מחר, אחרי 9 שנים של אמונה, עקשנות וחזון - זה הרגע שבו אפשר סוף סוף להראות את זה לעולם. פעם בכמה זמן מגיע מוצר שלא רק משנה את המשחק, אלא כותב מחדש את החוקים. מחר, יום שני ה־15.9, ב־19:30, נחשוף איך בנקאות הולכת להיראות בשנים הקרובות. וזה הרבה מעבר לעוד טכנולוגיה. זה רגע שלא תרצו לפספס. סמכו עליי. 📅 15 בספטמבר, 19:30 ישראל (12:30ET) 📺 שידור (באנגלית) באתר: www.esh.com
