Our Environmental Services team recently completed an initial round of wildlife occupancy surveys in the western U.S., executing multi-day field efforts aligned with federal protocols. Using early morning and evening survey windows, crews conducted standardized point counts with passive listening and call-broadcast methods to maximize detection and ensure high-quality, defensible data. Stepping away from the day-to-day and spending time together brings an irreplaceable kind of value.   Our team recently traveled to the Pacific Northwest for a hands-on team-building session focused on communication, trust, and real-time problem solving. The exercise pushed everyone to think differently, with challenges that required coordination, adaptability, and a strong reliance on one another to get the job done.   The impact extended beyond our team. The bikes assembled during the session were donated to Bicycle Re-Source, supporting a meaningful cause within the local community in Bend, Oregon.   As we continue to grow our presence in the Pacific Northwest, this kind of investment in our people and the communities we work in is intentional.
