  • Sanjay Nangia has been promoted to managing director of Enterprise Transformation Services (ETS) at Southern California Edison (SCE).     Sanjay will lead the ETS teams that plan and prioritize IT projects, oversee technology systems throughout their lifecycle and ensure reliable and efficient delivery of IT services. He will also drive enterprise-wide efforts to strengthen technology that supports the business.     Previously, Sanjay was director of IT Solutions Planning & Delivery, where he led teams responsible for delivering technology solutions for critical functions across different organizational units like Transmission & Distribution, System Planning & Engineering and Grid Resiliency. Sanjay has demonstrated strong leadership in executing technology capabilities to enable essential business operations across the enterprise.  Please join us in congratulating Sanjay on his new role.

  • Congratulations to Leanne Swanson, who was recently promoted to vice president of Vegetation, Inspections & Contractor Operations at Southern California Edison (SCE). Leanne will oversee vegetation management activities such as tree inspection, trimming and removal, ground and aerial inspections using advanced technologies, and contractor civil and electrical line construction operations. She will be responsible for driving safety, compliance and innovation across these areas. Leanne has more than 25 years of leadership, operations and engineering experience at SCE, strengthening the safety, reliability and resilience of our distribution design and construction. Most recently serving as director of Distribution Construction Operations, she has demonstrated a deep, consistent commitment to safety. Yay Leanne!

  • Sam Sandoval has been promoted to director of Distribution Field Operations Southeast at Southern California Edison (SCE). Sam has 28 years of electric utility experience, including more than 20 years in leadership roles at SCE. His previous roles include serving as the San Jacinto region manager in Distribution Operations and principal manager of System Operations, where Sam guided teams, emphasizing safety and reliability. His background spans transmission, distribution, substation construction and maintenance, and contract management. He also has served as an incident commander, advancing emergency response and continuous improvement. Congrats, Sam!

  • Francheska Wilson has been named the director of Operational Excellence at Southern California Edison (SCE). In this role, Francheska will establish and lead the Operational Excellence Office, which will play a critical role in meeting customers’ long-term needs. Her team will help identify, prioritize and implement technology-driven process changes to drive sustainable safety, affordability and reliability benefits for our customers. Francheska joined SCE in 2024 as the director of Transmission in Transmission & Distribution where she oversaw the safe and efficient execution of capital, and led the implementation of critical wildfire mitigation projects affecting the transmission grid. She is known for her commitment to safety and her passion for mentoring others. Congratulations, Francheska!

In this role, she will manage the Office of the CEO team and support the Edison International Managing Committee on key priorities.   In her previous role as director of Corporate Relations & Philanthropy in Corporate Affairs, Liz oversaw enterprise philanthropy and charitable giving, legislative analysis, political compliance and external engagements that advanced Edison’s thought leadership. Liz joined SCE in 2016 as a government relations manager in Local Public Affairs. Since joining, she has thrived in various roles across government relations and public affairs at Southern California Edison (SCE) and Edison International. Congratulations, Liz!
