March at DV Trading was a great reflection of what makes our team special - a balance of high performance, collaboration, and a culture that invests in people. In our NYC office, team members brought their competitive spirit to a friendly ping pong tournament - a small glimpse into the energy and camaraderie that drives our teams every day. DV Commodities also had the opportunity to host Magistère Banque Finance Assurance Dauphine's second-year students visiting from Paris during their NYC visit. Connecting with students and sharing what we do at DV is something we’re always excited about - especially as we look to build relationships with future talent. On campus, two of our junior traders represented DV Trading at the Quantitative Finance Conference hosted by The Wharton Undergraduate Finance Club. Engaging with students and discussing opportunities in trading and quantitative finance is a key part of how we grow our team. And in Chicago, our March Madness happy hour brought colleagues together to connect outside of the office - reinforcing the collaborative environment that defines DV. 🇺🇸 Third Day of New York Banking Trek - Visit 2 🇺🇸 Pour clôturer la troisième journée du Banking Trek à New York, les étudiants de deuxième année du Magistère Banque Finance Assurance Dauphine ont eu l’honneur d’être accueillis dans les bureaux de DV Commodities, la division spécialisée dans les matières premières de DV Trading LLC. Les étudiants ont été chaleureusement reçus par : - Alex Bietrix, US Natural Gas Trader - Alexandre Godard, Commodity Quant Trader - Adrien Alvero, Quant Researcher - Ryan Sharma, Senior US Gas Options Trader - Ashley Karr, Talent Acquisition Manager Les échanges ont permis aux étudiants de mieux comprendre le fonctionnement d’une Proprietary Trading Firm, les enjeux liés à la liquidité des marchés de l’énergie, ainsi que les différentes stratégies mises en œuvre par les équipes de trading et de recherche quantitative. Les intervenants ont également partagé leur expérience sur les parcours possibles dans ces métiers, qu’il s’agisse de trading, de recherche quantitative ou d’analyse de marché. La présentation s’est conclue par une visite de la salle de marché de DV Trading, offrant aux étudiants une immersion concrète dans l’environnement de travail des traders et une meilleure compréhension de l’organisation et du rythme des activités de trading. Un grand merci aux intervenants pour leur accueil et leurs témoignages enrichissants.
