  • Driven by AI and enterprise-wide transformation, CFO-to-CEO promotions have hit a ten-year high, now accounting for over 10% of sitting Fortune and S&P 500 CEOs. In an interview with diginomica, Jeanne E. Branthover, DHR Managing Partner, breaks down how tech is fundamentally shifting leadership expectations: 🔹 Tech fluency is no longer a nice-to-have; it is a baseline requirement for modern corporate leaders. 🔹 Executives can no longer delegate digital strategy. CFOs must actively partner with CIOs and CTOs. 🔹 Capital allocation, operating models, and performance are now entirely fueled by digital infrastructure. • Culture is not a soft metric. It affects retention, collaboration, client experience, and long-term growth. We’re proud to share that DHR Global has been recognized by Newsweek as one of America’s Greatest Midsize Workplaces for Culture, Belonging & Community 2026, earning a 5-star rating in the ranking. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As a global talent advisory firm, culture shapes how we work together, support clients, and build long-term partnerships. DHR partners with organizations to make critical leadership decisions, supported by consultants with deep, firsthand sector experience. About 83% of our work comes from repeat clients, reflecting the trust our teams build every day across industries and markets around the world. This recognition is especially meaningful because it is based on employee feedback and independent research evaluating leadership, integrity, career development, and belonging. DHR Global is proud to share that our CEO, Priya Taneja, has been named the 2026 Austinite of the Year and winner in the People and Operations category at the Austin Under 40 Awards. This recognition honors Priya’s professional achievement, leadership, and meaningful impact in the Austin community. Priya joined DHR in 2013 and was named CEO in 2025, becoming the first leader from outside the founding family to serve as CEO in the firm’s nearly four-decade history. Her path reflects a belief we share deeply at DHR: when people are given stability, support, and opportunity, they can rise. Beyond the firm, Priya has made service a meaningful part of her leadership in Austin, supporting initiatives focused on women, children, families, and expanding opportunity across Central Texas. She serves on the Advisory Council of Saint Louise House and has chaired fundraising events for the organization, most recently its first women’s luncheon, which raised more than $400,000 to support women and children in Austin. Congratulations, Priya. This honor is well-deserved. Read the full announcement: https://lnkd.in/gbMWG3ne #Leadership #AustinUnder40 #DHRGlobal #ExecutiveLeadership

  • Data from our 2026 Workforce Trends Report continues to shape the global dialogue on talent and culture. In the latest analysis, Forbes discusses how misalignment, rather than workload alone, is the primary driver of burnout. At a time when 83% of the workforce reports struggling with burnout, the data suggests that if an individual's work aligns with their values or leverages their strengths, it has a significant impact on sustained engagement. The distinction is critical for leadership: employees often thrive during intensive periods when the work is purposeful. However, when autonomy is low or values are mismatched, even a moderate workload can lead to significant disengagement. Last week, DHR Global brought together partners in Nashville for our North America Partner Retreat. The focus was simple: strengthen collaboration, share insight, and spend time learning from each other and a few outside experts. When we create space for real connection, we operate differently. We move faster, work more cohesively across practices, and deliver stronger outcomes for our clients.   We are a global firm, but moments like this matter. They strengthen the relationships behind the work, and that shows up in how we serve our clients every day.   Strong performance requires strong teams. We are building both. #lifeatDHR

  • AI is accelerating productivity while quietly weakening the career ladder that develops future leaders. In SHRM HR Quarterly, Christine Greybe, president of leadership consulting at DHR Global, explains how the disappearance of entry‑level roles erodes the training ground where judgment and experience are formed.   While AI can handle foundational tasks, it also raises the bar on human judgment. She adds, “You still need an overlay of thinking — how to evaluate the output, how to interpret it, how to apply it.” The productivity gains are real but without intentional redesign of early‑career work, the leadership pipeline may be the true casualty.   “Those early roles are where people learn how decisions get made,” she explains. “If you eliminate them, you’re left asking, ‘Who’s ready to take the next step?’” The solution is to redesign work. Employers should upskill and reskill talent so organizations remain capable not just today, but into the future.
