  • This is your reminder to have your facility's doors inspected annually! The Fire Door Drop Test (FDDT) program for fire-rated rolling doors, counter doors, shutters, accordion doors, and sliding doors includes a code-mandated inspection that follows testing procedures per NFPA 80. These inspections are performed at least annually with a copy of each inspection ticket given to the customer for their records. Contact us today so you can ensure your facility's doors will work properly in the event of a fire. https://lnkd.in/dbNBFWsC

  • May marks International Code Council© (ICC) Building Safety Month, a time to reflect on the importance of safety in our built environment, including, according to ICC, "maintaining the integrity of the structural, fire/life safety, envelope, plumbing, mechanical, electric, and fuel gas equipment” throughout a building’s life. Regular inspections increase safety for employees and guests, improves performance and supports efficient operations. Plus, inspections can reveal potential code compliance concerns and related legal obligations. Unsafe, inefficient doors and equipment translate to high costs and low productivity. Save yourself from unnecessary expenses with facility inspections from certified inspectors. Find out what an inspection from DH Pace's experts could reveal at your facility. https://lnkd.in/gJHkMuS8

  • There are many areas in a facility that pose the risk of injury. One of the most dangerous areas is at the loading dock. According to OSHA, 25% of all reported warehouse accidents occur at the loading dock, and for every injury, there are hundreds of near misses. With frequent traffic, large vehicles, moving machinery, and raised platforms with often-open doors, the likelihood of injury is high without proper precautions. One type of danger that is often severe or fatal but can be easily avoided is trailer separation. Increase the safety of your docks and contact the experts at DH Pace to select the right restraint for your facility and application. Watch the video below where we review the three main types of trailer separation and how to greatly reduce the dangers of trailer separation with trailer restraints. Or, visit our website for more details about trailer separation dangers and prevention: https://bit.ly/41oFM7U
