We appreciate The Sequoia Project highlighting the ongoing work of the Information Sharing Workgroup and Datavant's Director of Government Affairs & Policy Samuel C. Roods’ role as Co-Chair. The workgroup brings together stakeholders across healthcare and health IT to help address practical implementation challenges related to information sharing and information blocking regulations. Industry collaboration through the workgroup has contributed guidance and tools to support organizations navigating: 🔹 Information blocking compliance 🔹 Operational implementation considerations 🔹 Exception workflows and policies 🔹 Enforcement preparedness Recent outputs included the State-Level Activities on Information Blocking Resource, which tracks how state governments and courts are shaping policy and litigation related to information blocking, as well as the Information Sharing Toolkit featuring sample compliance tools, policies, and workflows to help organizations operationalize information sharing requirements at scale.
