What a day 💙 Across 20 Cub locations, our communities showed up in a big way. Together, we raised $14,000 in support of Special Olympics Minnesota. With the Special Olympics USA Games coming to Minnesota at the end of June, this support carries even greater significance. The funds raised will help support Minnesota athletes as they represent our state with determination, heart, and pride. We’re incredibly proud of our store teams and grateful to every customer and community member who donated, participated, and helped spread the word. Moments like this remind us that our stores are more than places to shop; they’re places where communities rally behind something bigger. Giving back is core to who we are. Behind every statistic is a neighbor, a family, a story. 🤝 With 1 in 5 Minnesota families facing food insecurity, we’re proud to donate to Second Harvest Heartland in support of local hunger relief efforts. Together, we can help make sure more tables are filled. The need across Minnesota remains urgent. Nearly half of households are worried about making ends meet, and food shelves continue to see sustained demand, with many families relying on them regularly for groceries. In response, Second Harvest Heartland and its partners recently distributed more than 10,000 emergency food boxes in a single week, each providing about 10 meals for a family of three, serving as true lifelines for communities across the state. We’re grateful to support an organization that is working around the clock to bridge the gap for families in need.
