"For women starting their careers, I’d share one of my favorite quotes: 'It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.' I carry that with me every day. 'Impossible' usually just means it hasn’t been done yet. So why shouldn’t you be the first to make it happen? Adjust the pace, not the purpose!" In honor of Women’s History Month, we are highlighting Jalila Jones - Executive Assistant to Crunchyroll's SVP of Data & Insights and SVP of Global Business & Legal Affairs, who helps to manage priorities, coordination, and day-to-day operations across both teams! Her love of anime has led to some of her closest relationships. Jalila believes in the empowerment of anime in bringing people together, and as a woman of color, she is especially excited about the opportunity to bring more diversity into anime as a whole. 🧡

“Find what makes you happy, even when it's not the typical path, and understand that it will evolve. Not every experience will feel like a win, but each one teaches you something if you're paying attention. Seek out perspectives from inside and outside your community because those different viewpoints will stretch you in ways you don't expect. The best career advice I ever received wasn't about climbing faster. It was about climbing toward the right thing.” In honor of Women’s History Month, we are highlighting Latisha M. - Senior Manager, Product Operations at Crunchyroll who works to remove obstacles so teams across departments can focus on building great projects. Being at Crunchyroll allows her to revel in her love of anime, and she makes time to give back through mentoring and creating opportunities for other women. She believes the opportunities for women in anime to be boundless. Click here to see her full Q&A! ⭐
