NEWS: TRAUMAGEL® Published in JSOM (Journal of Special Operations Medicine) The Use of Traumagel for Hemorrhage Control and Tourniquet Removal: A Case Series of Traumatic Extremity Injuries A recent peer-reviewed publication highlights how TRAUMAGEL can support hemorrhage control in tactical and prolonged field care environments. Key findings from operational use cases in traumatic hemorrhage: - Demonstrated rapid hemorrhage control in extremity injuries - Enabled tourniquet conversion and removal without rebleeding - Conformed to irregular wound geometries where traditional methods are limited - Supported durable hemostasis when used alongside standard interventions - Showed potential to reduce risks associated with prolonged tourniquet use These findings reinforce TRAUMAGEL’s potential as an adjunct solution in tactical casualty care, where rapid, reliable bleeding control is critical for both patient outcomes and mission success.
