  • It's the final week of Tomashi Jackson: Across the Universe 🎆 at CAMH! We have been so honored to have this mid-career survey by Tomashi Jackson on view at the Museum. Jackson created vibrant, research-driven work utilizing printmaking, video, photography, fiber, and sculpture. Jackson’s work is informed by region-specific research grounded in interviews with local community members, historians, and advocates, as well as archival materials and ephemera. Tomashi Jackson: Across the Universe is influenced by California muralists and traditions reflecting peoples’ movements of the 1950s-1990’s. Jackson's work scrutinizes the mechanics of societal power and recognizes the triumphs of the empowerment of communities of color. Plan a visit to see it this week and grab some exhibition merch from CAMH.SHOP. Tomashi Jackson: Across the Universe is on view through March 29, 2026. 📸 Visitors of the exhibition Tomashi Jackson: Across the Universe. Photos: Tasha Gorel
