During Limerick Clean Energy Center’s recent refueling and maintenance outage, I had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to climb Unit 1’s 522-foot cooling tower.   It’s hard to put into words the perspective you gain from that vantage point – not just of the structure itself, but the scale and complexity of what our teams operate every day. The ascent was no small feat, and it left me with an even deeper appreciation for the incredible machines we run at Constellation and the dedicated, talented professionals behind them.   This was a powerful reminder of the role we play in reliably powering American families and businesses – and the pride our people take in doing it safely and effectively. Thank you to Martin Bonifanti, Bill Levis, PE, Amanda Rogers, Ed Kruse, Joe Dougherty, and Jared Mohr for making this experience possible and to the entire Limerick team for your commitment to excellence 24/7/365.

  • During National Volunteer Month, more than 2,100 Constellation employees stepped up to support communities across the country – contributing more than 7,200 volunteer hours alongside nonprofit teams making a difference every day. From environmental restoration projects and neighborhood beautification efforts to STEM education initiatives, food insecurity support, and hands-on service projects benefiting children and families, our employees showed up in meaningful ways throughout the month. These efforts were made possible through the incredible collaboration of community organizations that continue to create impactful opportunities for our teams to engage and give back. Uplifting and strengthening communities is part of who we are. While National Volunteer Month shines a spotlight on service, our commitment to supporting the places where we live and work continues all year long.

  • For 25 years, Constellation’s Fishing for a Cure tournament has brought the community surrounding our Braidwood Clean Energy Center together to make a difference, and 2026 was no exception. This year’s event raised more than $90,000 for nonprofit Project Fire Buddies, a local group of firefighters that uplift children battling critical illnesses by visiting them in their homes, often with a parade of firefighting vehicles. “I’m humbled by the support shown by Constellation and its employees,” said Kurt DeGroot, CEO and Founder of Project Fire Buddies. “This is the largest donation we have ever received, and we are eager to put these funds to work brightening the lives of the children we serve.” To date, Fishing for a Cure has raised more than $1.1 million for a range of causes in support of local families and children.

  • At PJM Interconnection’s Annual Meeting in Baltimore, Constellation President and CEO Joseph Dominguez delivered a clear message to America’s largest grid operator, its member companies and other key stakeholders: We have the tools and resources to meet the challenge of rising energy demand – now we must act decisively to keep pace with a growing economy and unlock the right investment in our energy grid. Speaking on a panel with fellow energy leaders, Joe emphasized that moving with urgency and purpose will require strong collaboration from across the industry as we work collectively to meet data economy demand and maintain grid reliability. He also stressed the importance of America winning the AI race and how increasing grid utilization by adding new large loads will lower costs for families and businesses. We were pleased to welcome PJM and its members to our headquarters city for these essential conversations shaping our energy future.

  • We’re expanding our portfolio of sustainable energy solutions through a new long-term agreement with Pine Creek RNG. Announced today, Constellation will obtain a minority equity investment in five of Pine Creek’s operating renewable natural gas facilities, with a pathway to develop additional production in the years ahead. As demand grows for low-carbon energy options, pairing production ownership with our ability to market RNG and its environmental attributes will enable us to scale supply and better connect customers with reliable, market-based solutions that support their decarbonization goals. Agreements like this underscore the important role RNG can play alongside other clean energy resources – helping businesses reduce emissions while maintaining the reliability they depend on every day. 📷 Lamb Weston RNG facility in Richland, Washington

  • The Clinton Clean Energy Center team proudly opened its doors to about 100 local residents recently for Community Information Night! Guests got an inside look at several roles that keep the plant running as well as interactive demonstrations and a stop in the control room simulator. From supportive local officials to curious families and youngsters, we appreciate the community’s engagement as we pulled back the curtain and showcased how our Illinois nuclear fleet provides more than half of the state’s emissions-free energy, safely and reliably.
