Recently, several of our Foremen participated in Associated Builders and Contractors - Virginia Chapter's Crew Leadership class, a program designed to strengthen leadership, communication, team building, safety, and decision-making skills in the field. Investing in our people is one of the ways we continue building a stronger future, one leader at a time. • "I love seeing people win!" That says a lot about Jackie Spillane, this month's spotlight from our Hampton Roads office. Since joining ColonialWebb, Jackie has continued to grow his skills across multiple trades. In a relatively short time, he has made a noticeable impact on both job performance and team morale, earning a promotion to Foreman earlier this year. What makes Jackie's story stand out is the way he invests in the people around him. He enjoys mentoring younger teammates, sharing his experience, and helping create the kind of morale that matters on a jobsite. For Jackie, success is not just about the work in front of him. It's also about helping others along the way. We're proud to spotlight Jackie and the mindset he brings to the team every day: work hard, support others, and keep growing. • At ColonialWebb, safety is always at the forefront, not just during Safety Week, but every day. Last week gave us the opportunity to come together, reflect on that shared responsibility, and recognize the people who help make safety part of how we work across the company. From the field to the office, it was great to see teams come together around a commitment to building a stronger, safer culture. Take a look back at a few moments from the week 💙

  • As we close out Safety Week, we're proud to highlight two ColonialWebb crews for recently being recognized by DPR Construction for their strong commitment to safety on site. Their focus on awareness, communication, accountability, and doing the work the right way reflects the standard we strive to uphold on every job. Recognition like this is a reminder that safety is not just a priority for one week. It is built through the daily actions and decisions our teams make every day. #SafetyWeek2026

  • During Safety Week, we're proud to recognize Adam Trowbridge, SMP, Vice President of Safety, for being named the 2025 Distinguished Safety Professional by Comfort Systems USA. This recognition reflects ColonialWebb's continued focus on safety performance, innovation, and collaboration, as well as the leadership helping drive that work forward every day. It also speaks to the strong safety culture that supports our teams across the company. We caught up with Adam to hear his thoughts on the recognition: "I am honored to receive the Comfort Systems Distinguished Safety Professional Award. To be selected from the many outstanding safety professionals across the Comfort Systems operating companies is truly humbling. This recognition is not an individual achievement, but a reflection of the strong, dedicated safety team at ColonialWebb that I have the privilege of working alongside every day. Without their commitment, collaboration, and trust, we would not have accomplished what we have since I stepped into a leadership role. I am grateful to be part of a team that continues to raise the bar for safety excellence." Congratulations, Adam!

  • Safety Week is a reminder that safety is built through the actions we take every day. At ColonialWebb, safety is more than a box to check. It's part of how we protect our people and do the work the right way. This year's focus on recognize, respond, and respect reflects the mindset we work to bring across the company every day by recognizing hazards, responding with the right controls, and respecting every person and every role. As we kick off Safety Week, we're proud to recognize our teammates who help make safety more than a priority. They make it part of how we work.

  • National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) is a chance to recognize the value of Registered Apprenticeships and the role they play in building a strong future for the skilled trades. At ColonialWebb, apprenticeship programs help prepare the next generation through hands-on learning, mentorship, and real-world experience. This year, we're proud to celebrate eight ColonialWebb apprentices who are set to graduate as part of the 2026 apprenticeship class in June. It is one of the ways we continue investing in people, building careers, and strengthening the industries we serve. #NAW2026
