Dedicated to Building a Better Tomorrow

About us

Clark Bros. Inc. (CBI) is a licensed general engineering contractor and full-service EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) firm headquartered in Central California. Since 1960, we’ve delivered complex infrastructure projects across the western United States with an emphasis on quality, safety, and client collaboration. We specialize in heavy civil construction, high-voltage electrical infrastructure, and renewable energy projects including solar, wind, battery energy storage (BESS), and substation work. As a nimble and privately held company, CBI offers clients a streamlined EPC experience from preconstruction through commissioning. Our in-house teams self-perform earthwork, concrete, electrical, and structural scopes, enabling greater control over schedule, safety, and cost. Whether building water infrastructure. Complementing our mission, CBI Power, an affiliate of Clark Bros Inc., extends our expertise to building electrical power grid infrastructures and clean energy solutions. We set ourselves apart from other construction companies through our unique culture of collaboration and creativity. By encouraging independent ideas and providing an open forum for collaborative thought, we’re able to uplift and inspire team members to solve problems with ingenuity and confidence. And by embodying grit and resilience, we’re able to overcome challenges and reinforce our employees’ purpose and personal growth, while actively rebuilding and expanding our nation along the way. Today’s developers and driven entrepreneurs need more than a general contractor. They need a construction company who can lead the way to a better, more sustainable future. At Clark Bros Inc., we stand by what we do from start to finish, because you deserve a construction contractor who cares about your vision for today, and every day ahead.

Updates

  • This week we welcomed our summer interns, Braden and Braden! No, having the name Braden was not a requirement for our interns, we just happened to find two great candidates who are ready to learn all things CBI. Welcome to the team, Braden and Braden!

  • A few moments our Santa Nella / Volta project. Our CBI crew out there is building infrastructure that will serve these communities for years to come. Every phase of this project is built with one goal in mind: delivering reliable, clean water to both Santa Nella and Volta.

  • And that’s a wrap on Construction Safety Week! One week. Multiple sites. One team. This year’s Safety Week was a reminder that safety is more than meetings, presentations, or protocols. It’s the culture we build together every single day. From site trainings and team discussions to BBQs, raffles, and moments spent learning alongside one another, every crew showed what it means to be all in when it comes to protecting our people. We’re proud of every team member who took the time to speak up, stay engaged, and continue raising the standard across every job site. Safety is about being your brother’s keeper, looking out for the people beside you and making sure everyone goes home safe. Thank you to everyone who helped make this week impactful.

  • Today is day 4 of Construction Safety Week and we are focusing on Respect. Respect starts with the plan. It’s not just something we create at the beginning of a job. It’s something we follow, trust, and adjust as conditions change. Respect means speaking up when something doesn’t look right. It means using Stop Work Authority when it matters most. It means holding each other accountable every step of the way. Because when we respect the plan, we protect our people.

Day 3 of Construction Safety Week highlights Fall Prevention (Stand-Down to Prevent Falls). It only takes one moment. One missed step. One shortcut. Earlier this week, our team spent time with 3M diving into fall prevention. We learned about real scenarios, real risks, and the right ways to protect against them. That training doesn’t stay in the classroom, it shows up here on the job, every single day. We don’t take chances when it comes to working at height. We plan for it, protect against it, and hold each other accountable every step of the way. Because being your brother’s keeper isn’t just something we say, it’s how we operate. It’s about making sure everyone goes home.

  • Day 2 of Construction Safety Week highlights Respond. For us, that means empowering every team member with Stop Work Authority. If something doesn’t look right, we stop. It’s that simple. Creating a culture where individuals feel confident to pause work, reassess, and speak up is critical to preventing incidents before they happen. It requires trust, clear communication, and leadership that supports action in the moment. We’re proud to reinforce a culture where doing the right thing is always the expectation!

Day 1 of Construction Safety Week kicked off the right way at our Root Creek site today. We brought the team together to learn, connect, and set the tone for the week ahead. Big thanks to Logan from 3M for leading a powerful fall prevention presentation. As we approach 365 days without a recordable, days like this are what keep that standard strong! We wrapped it up with a BBQ and some well-earned raffle wins! Excited for Day 2 tomorrow 💪🏼
