The City of Mill Valley, Chamber of Commerce, and our local restaurants are joining forces to help our community. As the federal government shutdown continues, Marin County leaders are mobilizing an emergency response effort to address the growing risk of food insecurity caused by the suspension of CalFresh (SNAP) benefits. Mill Valley Restaurant Offerings Eligibility: Show a CalFresh EBT card + any form of ID (unless otherwise noted). Offers available until the federal government shutdown ends. 🍴 Participating Restaurants 🍝 Mill Valley Pasta Co. – Mention “Picking up for Uncle Tony” at the downtown store or any pop-up for free or discounted meals if food insecure. 🍞 Madrona Bakery – From 11 a.m.–3 p.m., ask “What’s for family meal?” to receive lunch (while supplies last). Meals may include meat, dairy, and wheat.
