We’re proud to share the success of our recent Diabetes Day at Mercy Comprehensive Care Center! The event was spearheaded by our Physician Relations Specialist, Mubbashira Siddiqui, in partnership with Clinical Pharmacist, Gurjot Sandhu, who led the coordination of multiple services being provided in a single day. Vital support was provided from the dedicated nursing and front office staff at MCCC. Through collaboration with pharmacists and Certified Diabetes Educators from Catholic Health, we delivered holistic, patient‑centered care designed to reduce barriers and improve access. Patients received diabetic eye exams, lab work, personalized nutrition counseling, and medication reconciliation - all in one visit - to help optimize diabetes management. This event reflects our continued commitment to empowering our community through education, collaboration, and accessible, high‑quality care. 🔗 To learn more about Catholic Medical Partners, visit https://lnkd.in/dV73FhQ! #CMPSpotlight #DiabetesManagement #CollaborativeCare

Mason Vail is a 21-year-old stroke survivor and a huge Buffalo Sabres fan! He's been cheering on his favorite team in their play-off run and today, he took a moment to celebrate another team close to his heart: the stroke team at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo. This reunion honored both Mason’s recovery and the stroke team’s 14th consecutive Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, the highest level of recognition for stroke care. Mason shared his story and thanked Dr. Kaylan Shastri, Dr. Jason Davies, and the entire stroke team for their lifesaving care. His journey is a powerful reminder that stroke can occur at any age! Marking the lifesaving work this team performs daily and their 14-year tradition of excellence is truly remarkable. Thank you, Mason, for helping us raise awareness of stroke signs and symptoms and the importance of seeking immediate treatment. 💙💛 #StrokeMonth #StrokeSurvivor #RightWaytoCare #Sabres

  • National EMS Week is the perfect opportunity to celebrate our partners in the field, the emergency medical technicians and paramedics. EMS professionals play a crucial role not just in transporting patients to hospitals, but also in triaging them to ensure they receive life-saving treatments, such as TPA, as quickly as possible. 🚑⏱️ As a small thank-you for their lifesaving work, we’re offering meal pickups at all our hospital locations. It’s just a small token of appreciation for the big differences they make in our community! 💙 #EMSWeek #EMSstrong #ThankYOU

  • ⭐ Our exceptional, 5-star rated long-term care teams work tirelessly to provide quality care to our residents and support families throughout WNY. We proudly recognize you and the exceptional care provided across our Skilled Nursing Facilities —Father Baker Manor, McAuley Residence, Mercy Nursing Facility, and St. Catherine Labouré Healthcare Center. 💙 This year’s theme, “Moments in Bloom,” celebrates how small acts of kindness — a smile, a listening ear, a reassuring word — grow into meaningful experiences for residents, families, and staff. Your compassion nurtures dignity, trust, and a community grounded in care and hope. Thank you for the difference you make, for supporting one another, and for helping our residents thrive. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and we are deeply grateful for all that you do. #MomentsinBloom #NSNCW #SkilledNursing #RightWaytoCare

  • Four years ago today, we confronted the devastating reality of violence and hatred that took ten innocent lives and deeply wounded our community. Designated by the City of Buffalo as a day of service, let us unite to support initiatives that actively combat racism and give back to our community. We invite you to join us today at our facilities and throughout the community as we offer our prayers for peace and healing, honoring the memories of Celestine Chaney, Roberta Drury, Andre Mackniel, Katherine Massey, Margus D. Morrison, Heyward Patterson, Aaron W. Salter, Geraldine Talley, Ruth Whitfield, and Pearl Young. May our moments of remembrance and reflection ignite a spirit of action. #StrongerTogether #ChooseLove #WNY
