As Manager of Caterpillar's Smart Factory Center of Excellence, Matt is at the forefront of advancing digital capabilities across our Remanufacturing facilities. His work focuses on connecting data, systems and people so teams can make smarter, faster decisions. With a background spanning operations, manufacturing engineering and automotive leadership, Matt brings a unique perspective to modernizing how work gets done. From improving connectivity and automation to enabling real-time visibility into production and quality, his role plays a critical part in how Caterpillar turns innovation into impact. Though the Smart Factory Center of Excellence is early in its journey, the progress underway is laying the foundation for long-term transformation across Caterpillar Remanufacturing for years to come. #iAmCaterpillar

Sukma’s six‑year journey with #TeamCaterpillar as a Senior Associate Engineer at our Batam facility in Indonesia is a true reflection of her dedication, passion and impact in manufacturing. She has played a key role in Product Design Improvement, contributing to New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and ensuring smooth manufacturability and operational readiness. One of her standout contributions was her bucket conversion project, which unlocked new sales opportunities and delivered measurable business impact – an example of her innovative thinking put into action. Sukma has also led initiatives that turn challenges into opportunities. By repurposing old materials, she helped transform potential scrap into valuable assets, supporting cost savings while driving sustainability. Beyond the shop floor, Sukma recharges by embracing her passions. She finds freedom and her focus through motorcycle riding ️ — a space to reflect, reset and reconnect with herself. As she explores new places and experiences, she brings the same energy to her work. She says, “I believe every challenge is an opportunity to learn, grow and show what we’re capable of, no matter who we are or where we come from.” Sukma’s story is a powerful reminder of the women who continue to thrive, lead, and excel across industries. For over 20 years, Lina's career has grown as manufacturing evolved, and she has helped shape what quality looks like today. As a team leader on the excavation assembly line at our CXL facility in Xuzhou, Lina’s journey proves there is no ceiling to the growth of frontline employees when passion, trust, and opportunity align. 💛 Lina began her career at a time when manufacturing was evolving rapidly. Over the years, she worked across multiple production domains, building deep expertise while witnessing the transformation of skill-based trades into digitally enabled operations, including advancements in automation and autonomy. Each role helped her grow into a trusted subject matter expert. One of the biggest changes Lina experienced was not just how work was done but how Quality was defined. In today’s customer first world, quality is no longer just about defect-free products. It’s about cultivating a defect-free mindset, where quality is embedded into everyday actions and decisions. ✅ Years of hands-on experience on the assembly line gave Lina a strong understanding of process flow and quality control. That foundation positioned her to lead through change and support her team as expectations evolved. As one of the first female testers in the facility, Lina played a key role in implementing a new system on the assembly line. This shift served as an essential link between planning and execution at the shop floor level enabling real-time management, monitoring, and optimization of production execution processes. Lina’s belief is simple yet powerful: “Data should be transformed into meaningful information that helps people build products with accuracy and quality.” Today, she pays it forward by mentoring employees and has helped deploy 60+ continuous improvement projects, reinforcing quality not just as a process but as a mindset. From logistics and supply chain to the commercial front lines, Courtney’s career at Caterpillar reflects the power of exploring what’s possible. Now a Marketing and Sales Effectiveness Manager for Caterpillar’s Americas Distribution Services Division, she brings deep operational expertise to work that helps dealers and customers make informed decisions, ensuring the right machines are available when and where they’re needed. After years in internally focused roles, Courtney made the move into the commercial space to work more closely with dealers and customers. That shift allowed her to pair her supply chain background with field collaboration, bridging strategy and execution to support real-world customer needs. One of the most rewarding moments in her career came from leading commercial initiatives that enabled dealers and customers to purchase special centennial machines. The work not only strengthened dealer relationships but also helped create memorable experiences for customers across the business. As Courtney reflects on her journey, she credits her growth to being willing to step outside her comfort zone. “Being uncomfortable can be a good thing.
