CATA and UGI Energy Services have announced a partnership to use Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) to fuel CATA’s fleet of 69 buses and six service vehicles. 🌱 This initiative is a significant step toward sustainability and is projected to save 3,089 tons of CO2 emissions annually—equivalent to removing 670 gasoline-fueled cars from the road! 🚍💨 We were excited to welcome several political and local leaders to our ribbon-cutting ceremony. Attendees included Congressman GT Thompson, Representative Paul Takac, Representative Scott Conklin, Larry Shifflet, Executive Deputy Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, and Kelly Beaver, Vice President of Commodity Marketing and Supply from UGI Energy Services. Special thanks to everyone involved in making this initiative possible, including CATA’s outgoing CEO David Rishel and the new CEO Todd Horsley! Together, we are building a greener future! 🌍
