About us
Byrne is a fourth generation, family-owned producer of ESL and Aseptic dairy and other beverages. We specialize in retailer private brands and contract manufacturing sold to consumers across the United States. Based in Central New York, Byrne's facilities include an extended shelf-life (ESL) and ultra-high temperature (UHT) pasteurization plant in DeWitt and an ESL manufacturing facility located in Cortlandville. Byrne also has warehouse facilities in Syracuse and East Syracuse as well as an ice cream center in Syracuse. The company’s corporate headquarters are in LaFayette.

The young STEAM sleuths at the YWCA Girls' Summit played Holmes to Byrne's Watson -- Aseptic Plant Manager Liz Watson -- at the Dairy Detectives workshop! 🕵🏾♀️ Participants explored how dairy processing facilities test milk for freshness and safety, then examined “mystery samples” for quality defects. 🥛 Liz brought along Aseptic QC Supervisor Cailin Monroe and Document Control Specialist Sabrina Carmichael for the Girls' Summit, which drew girls from 12 school districts across four counties to explore careers in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math). Byrne is proud to sponsor and participate in this event. Thank you, YWCA of Syracuse and Onondaga County, Inc., for hosting us.
