At Butterball, passing love on is more than a phrase. It is a way of working every day. Octovais Carmichael, 1st Processing Production Superintendent, shares how this shows up in his leadership: “In my role, it is a must that love is passed on. In the roles we hold as people leaders, we are committed to the phrase ‘each one teaches one.’ I have a joy and passion for leading and developing others. Teaching what I have learned and helping others avoid the mistakes I have made creates a safer, better, and stronger workplace for those here now and those who will come after us. Passing love on is a key indicator that we understand our Purpose and can explain the why behind what we do. It also fosters a sense of belonging for those we reach.” This is what it looks like when Purpose comes to life on the floor. Thank you, Octovais, for leading with care, developing others, and strengthening the teams around you. 💙 #EmployeeVoices #PassLoveOn

Since graduating from the Management Trainee Program, Noah Watson has been a Production Supervisor in the Ready-To-Cook department at our Mount Olive facility, where he continues to grow his leadership impact. “What I enjoy most is that no two days are alike. Every day brings new opportunities to learn and develop both my skill sets and my team. The MT program prepared me to work across different departments and better understand each part of the process. I’ve seen the most growth in my ability to take in and interpret information to understand how each area impacts one another. One takeaway from the program I’ll carry with me is the importance of being adaptable.” We’re proud to see our MT graduates continue to develop their skills and make a meaningful impact across the organization.💙
