North Carolina’s local governments are building the future of connected communities, and Brightspeed Business is proud to help power it. As a Silver Sponsor of the 2026 NCLGISA Spring Symposium, our Brightspeed Business Public Sector team had the opportunity to connect with GIS and technology leaders from across the state who are driving innovation in local government, utilities, infrastructure, and community services. From smart city initiatives to critical network modernization, the conversations throughout the event reinforced one thing: secure, scalable connectivity is foundational to the future of public sector operations. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to connect with us. We’re excited to continue supporting the organizations shaping smarter, stronger communities across the region. #BrightspeedBusiness #NCLGISA #PublicSector #FiberInternet #LocalGovernment 📌James Ferruso

Brightspeed is working to advance Ohio’s future through multi-gig fiber connectivity across the state. Our fiber network build is nearly 65% complete with more than 350,000 homes and businesses having access to Brightspeed Fiber Internet now and approximately 200,000 additional locations planned as expansion continues. From Ada to Wooster, and dozens of communities in between, Brightspeed is helping close connectivity gaps with 100% fiber-to-the-home infrastructure designed for how people live and work today: streaming, learning, running businesses, remote work, telehealth, and gaming. More than just infrastructure, fiber connectivity is opportunity that will help power Ohio's growth now and well into the future. #Brightspeed #FiberInternet #Ohio #FiberInternetForAll

Strong communities are built on strong connections, both on the course and through the power of fiber connectivity. ⛳💡 Brightspeed Business was proud to serve as the presenting sponsor of the Greater Greenville Chamber Golf Classic, bringing together local leaders, businesses, and community partners to support economic growth across Eastern North Carolina. Just as our fiber network helps businesses connect, collaborate, and grow, events like this create meaningful opportunities to strengthen local relationships and invest in the future of our communities. We’re especially honored that proceeds from the tournament support student scholarships and the Pitt County Educational Foundation’s Teacher Executive Institute Program, helping empower the next generation of leaders. Thank you to the Greater Greenville Chamber for an incredible event and for the work you do to strengthen the local business community. #BrightspeedBusiness #FiberConnectivity #CommunityInvestment #EconomicGrowth #GreenvilleNC Samuel Wildman, Rob S., Cristina Kecker

At #FiberConnect on May 18: Brightspeed's Head of Local Marketing and Partnerships Tali Kulbeda will be joining Jeff Baumgartner from Light Reading for a fireside chat, "Game On: Building Brighter Futures." This session comes at the end of a block focused on network performance that includes capacity, latency, infrastructure. The discussion will take it one step further and examine what that actually looks like in the real world—in homes with multiple devices, in communities where access still isn’t equal, in moments where performance either shows up…or doesn’t. #FC26 #lightyearsahead Fiber Broadband Association

Fiber momentum is lighting up North Carolina.💡 More than 737,000 homes and businesses across the Tar Heel State now have access to reliable, multi-gig-speed fiber as Brightspeed reaches 60% completion of our fiber network build in our home state, with 506,000 more locations set to be fiber-enabled when construction is complete. Progress can already be seen in nine communities now 100% fiber enabled, including Aulander, Boonville, Kernersville, Lake Waccamaw, Mamie, Sunbury, Wallace, Winton and Yadkinville. Every mile of fiber we construct is more than just infrastructure. It's a catalyst for stronger small businesses, better access to telehealth, smoother remote work, richer learning opportunities and communities ready for what comes next. #Brightspeed #FiberInternet #NorthCarolina #FiberInternetForAll
