  • Bowman Williams is hiring Account Managers. We are Ranked by Forbes as a top 200 permanent placement staffing firm serving the IT Cloud & Managed Services industry. Account Managers only manage client relationships - no sales. You are given a book of business; you work directly with CEOs of MSPs. As a niche staffing firm (go niche or go home!) our model is highly repeatable; proven processes that empower AMs to become industry experts. We utilize technology and automation to reduce busywork; we cut down the red tape so AMs stay working “closest to the dollar.” We are fully remote company. We take a 2-hour lunch break every day. Unlimited PTO. Benefits are 100% paid for by the company. Account Managers with staffing experience are encouraged to apply:

  • In case you missed it, the Bowman Williams 2026 MSP Salary Guide was officially released and free to download: https://lnkd.in/eiUkgdz We've been a trusted resource for helping MSP professionals advance their careers in the IT Managed Services industry for over 16 years. And we have over 1,000 MSP clients across the U.S. This gives us a unique vantage point of the industry and our free salary guide is our way of putting that knowledge back into the market.  We hope it adds value to your career or your MSP. Onwards and upwards 💪

  • Three takeaways from the 2026 MSP Salary Guide every MSP leader should see: 1. The mid‑layer squeeze is real. Tier 2s and project‑heavy engineers are seeing stronger upward salary pressure than many L3 roles in several markets, because they sit at the intersection of cloud, projects, and security. 2. Cloud + security exposure now acts like a multiplier. Even modest hands‑on time with Azure, Intune, and security tooling is tied to higher salary targets and faster, more competitive offers. 3. “Remote saves money” isn’t always true anymore. For some L2/L3 roles, fully remote candidates are now commanding salaries close to, or above, big‑city bands - especially when they bring multi‑client MSP experience. If you’re still using 2023 numbers to budget for 2026 hires and raises, you’re flying blind. We built the 2026 MSP Salary Guide so you can benchmark every key MSP role by city (and remote) and adjust before the market does it for you. • The 2026 MSP Salary Guide shows that mid‑layer technical roles are under the heaviest compensation pressure right now - especially Tier 2 Systems Admins and project‑heavy engineers. In many markets, the gap between what they earn today and what they can get by moving is wide enough that a single competing offer can reset your whole team’s expectations. We are curious where you feel the most retention risk heading into this year. Vote in the poll, then drop any specifics in the comments (role, city, and what you’re hearing in conversations). We’ll circle back with how your answers line up against the salary and offer data in the 2026 MSP Salary Guide. #MSP #ManagedServices #EmployeeRetention #TechHiring #SalaryGuide

  • An MSP owner came to us recently with a problem. “We keep losing Tier 2 candidates at the one‑yard line. Our offer should be competitive.” On paper, their salary band looked fine - it lined up with what we would’ve called “market rate” a couple of years ago. But when we compared it to the 2026 MSP Salary Guide data, it was clear the market had moved. Strong Tier 2 candidates were already seeing offers 8–12% higher, plus more time in Azure, project work, and security tooling. In other words, the band hadn’t kept up with how the role’s value had changed. That’s one of the big themes in this year’s guide: pay isn’t just about years in the industry anymore. It’s about how much cloud, project, and security exposure a role really has. Curious for other perspectives: when you’ve lost a great candidate in the last 6–12 months, what was the real reason they chose another offer? #MSP #ManagedServices #MSPHiring #Recruiting #TechLeadership

  • Tier 2 salaries aren’t “creeping up” anymore. They’ve jumped into a new lane. In our 2026 MSP Salary Guide, market‑rate offers for basic Helpdesk Tier 2s range from the high‑60s in Dallas and Atlanta to the mid‑70s in NYC and LA - and that’s before you layer in cloud or security specialization. The chart below shows something important: in every major market, starting salaries for new hires sit above current employee pay. That’s built‑in turnover risk if your bands haven’t moved yet. 👉 When you look at this, does your MSP feel above, at, or below where the market is now? • Two Tier 2 engineers. Same years of experience. Same certs. Their pay can still be $20K+ apart depending on the MSP they work for and how much cloud, project, and security work they touch. That pattern shows up again and again in the 2026 MSP Salary Guide. The biggest pay drivers aren’t years in the industry. It’s: Exposure to Azure / hybrid cloud Time on projects vs living in the ticket queue Hands‑on security tooling + incident work Engineers with those three in their toolkit are pulling away from the rest of the market fast. 👉 What role has been the hardest for your MSP to hire? Reply with: Tier 1, Tier 2, Project Engineer, Security Engineer, or vCIO / TAM - I’ll share what our data shows for each. (Full breakdown is in the 2026 MSP Salary Guide.) #MSP #ManagedServices #MSPHiring #TechHiring #CloudComputing #CyberSecurity
