  • A paper jam at 2:00 AM looks like a maintenance problem. On a large enough statement run, it's a five-figure conversation by morning. If you break down the numbers—how pieces missed, discount per piece, and cutoff windows— it really stacks into dollar losses that most service program conversations never account for. The repair bill is the easy number. Operational impact is the one that matters.

Another successful milestone for the NIT team and our partners. Very happy to attend the successful Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of the EPIC device at the BlueCrest factory in Danbury. This is a special milestone for us, as it is the first EPIC machine in the Middle East for our strategic customer, EgyServe in Egypt, and one of the first installations outside the Americas and Europe. The visit was a great opportunity to train and gain practical experience, with the support of BlueCrest engineers and technicians, who were very helpful throughout the FAT process. This experience was even more valuable because of the trust EgyServe has in BlueCrest and Emerdis | Warehouse Automation solutions, and the effort and dedication of the NIT team across management, sales, and maintenance. Big thanks to everyone who helped make this FAT successful. Special thanks to Rohan Mathur, @Marco Chericoni Ahmed Ismail , the NIT maintenance team, and all our partners at BlueCrest and Emerdis | Warehouse Automation. Special thanks to Professor Kim Andersen, whom I had the honour of meeting when he inquired about us while we were checking out the machine. Looking forward to the next success together. #mailing #inserting #automation #productionmail #transactional #printandmail

What a fantastic morning hosted by Joseph McGeown at Capita in Mansfield. An insight into the interns they support through West Notts College and Notts CC and what opportunities are open to us all as employers! Thanks to Louise and Julie for great presentations and a ‘big up’ to our very own BlueCrest Natallie Fairhurst giving us all a personal insight into her experiences of neurodiversity. Thanks for the opportunity to network and learn! 🙏

  • A jam at 2:00 AM. A USPS rule change that no one patched. An operator who left in March, taking the institutional knowledge along. If any of these feel familiar, you already know how quickly a small thing becomes a service program question. Our latest carousel is a short guide for operations leaders running production print and mail. We walk through what one hour of downtime really costs, the six places operational risks might be hiding, and how to size a service program your operation needs.

#DMTForum #Anwenderforum #BlueCrest #Print #lastmile #Kuvertierung #Networking #HalleSaale #sortiertechnologie #postlogistik #briefsortierung #documentprocessing #innovation

Coming out of the National Postal Forum , one message stood out from United States Postal Service COO, Doug Tulino —a continued focus on service, cost, production, and culture. It’s a clear reflection of where our industry is headed—and a strong benchmark for how we show up. At BlueCrest , we had nearly every division represented on the floor, showcased new and innovative equipment in our booth, and delivered a cohesive brand presence—right down to our team’s apparel (which, based on feedback, was a hit). But more than anything, culture showed up through the way our teams collaborated, represented the brand, and engaged with clients. We heard it directly from those clients. The recognition, the conversations, and the energy reinforced that the work matters. Proud of a team that continues to execute with alignment, focus, and a shared standard of excellence.
