Thanks to support from Citizens Alliance Bank and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines Member Impact Fund matching program, Benefis Foundation received a generous gift of $8,600 in support of the Goodnow Healthy Aging Center. This gift also marks the second contribution made through the FHLB Des Moines Member Impact Fund in support of the Goodnow Healthy Aging Center. This future center is designed to help older adults stay healthy, independent, and connected through specialized care, wellness resources, and support services all in one place, close to home. As a not-for-profit community health system, Benefis is driven to provide the highest level of care. We serve nearly 230,000 residents across a 15-county region that is bigger than Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont combined. Benefis is the largest non-governmental employer in the Great Falls area, with more than 3,000 employees. From Clinical Engineering and Biomedical Equipment Technicians (BMETs) to Cybersecurity and Clinical Asset Management associates from TRIMEDX, these teams work around the clock to maintain, service, and support the healthcare technology our patients and caregivers rely on every day. Community partnerships continue to make a lasting impact across Montana. Thanks to a partnership between Bravera and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines through the Member Impact Fund program, Benefis Foundation received $24,008 to support the Goodnow Healthy Aging Center this week. The Member Impact Fund is designed to strengthen communities by matching member financial institution contributions to nonprofit organizations focused on community development. This investment will help support Benefis Health System’s vision for the Goodnow Healthy Aging Center — an innovative model focused on helping older adults maintain independence, improve quality of life, and access coordinated care and resources close to home.
