    Our team is running a TikTok account structure that features GMV Max + Video Views setup for one of our clients. They track through Triple Whale, which also gives them post-purchase survey attribution (via KnoCommerce). From Sep 6–9, we only ran VV + GMV Max (no other conversion campaigns, with a 24-hour buffer to avoid attribution contamination). Here’s what the PPS showed on a 1-day window: -> A customer clicked a Google brand ad after searching “brand name.” PPS answer: TikTok -> A customer typed the brand name directly, then purchased. PPS answer: TikTok -> A customer typed the brand URL into their browser. PPS answer: TikTok Over the last 3 days, 20+ customer responses show the same behavior: 1. They discover the brand on TikTok. 2. Then they search for it and buy. This setup delivered 8.28x ROAS because VV campaigns are (in case of this client, but overall always consistently cheaper) 77% cheaper on CPMs than purchase-optimized campaigns, while still reaching in-market audiences. This test was designed to provide insights into how upper-funnel campaigns are driving conversions and inform what creatives we put into those campaigns. And so far it’s working. As a key note, all winning videos clearly mentioned and showed the brand name right up front. That consistency drove brand recall, search intent, and purchase behavior. #tiktok #tiktokads

    July is over… so let me ask you: Are you ready for Black Friday? For the past four years, I’ve worked with the team at ATTN Agency to create a monster of a document—our annual Q4 Planning Guide. It outlines month-by-month strategy by channel, highlights key dates, and includes templates, timelines, and action items. It’s a beast. But it’s necessary. And we get it into our clients’ hands in July for three big reasons: 🧠 Planning ahead is planning for success Audience building, awareness campaigns, and account-wide testing need to happen now - not in November. CPMs will only rise until they fall off a cliff after Christmas. If you want to win BFCM, you need a comprehensive strategy that starts today. 📅 Setting expectations saves time (and budget) Creative production takes time. Video assets. Static assets. Emails. MMS. Postcards. It all takes time! For example, if you want promo videos live in November, they need to be shot and edited in October, so the idea needs to exist in September. That means your promo calendar should be finalized by the end of August. FYI: tomorrow is August 1st! 🤝 Protect your team’s time Agency teams are already stretched thin - and last-minute chaos only adds fuel to the fire. Platforms are more complex, campaigns are more fragmented, and your success relies on coordination. Shared timelines, clear expectations, and early deliverables are how everyone wins. So again, I ask: Are you ready for Black Friday? Because your competition is.
