What started in Illinois in 1996 has grown into a nationwide organization spanning 24 states. From our outpatient clinics to ATI Sports Medicine and ATI Worksite Solutions, ATI continues to grow through the passion, purpose, and dedication of teammates across every line of business. As we reflected on the milestones that brought us here, we also celebrated the momentum driving us forward. This week served as a powerful reminder that ATI’s story is built on innovation, culture, and teammates who continue to change lives every single day. Heather came to ATI feeling unsure of the process. Falls are one of the most common and preventable health risks facing older adults today. In a recent letter in The Daily Herald, ATI’s Wade Harrell PT, DPT, OCS, EMBA highlights the scale of the issue: more than 14 million older Americans fall each year, often leading to serious injury, loss of independence, and rising healthcare costs. What’s important is that these outcomes aren’t inevitable. Subtle changes in balance, strength, and mobility often show up long before a fall occurs, creating an opportunity to intervene earlier. That’s the focus of the SAFE Act, a bipartisan effort to expand access to fall risk assessments through Medicare. By making these evaluations more accessible, it shifts care toward prevention and helps identify risk before it leads to injury. At ATI, that same approach is part of everyday care. Clinicians assess movement, strength, and stability to identify potential risks early and build personalized plans that help patients stay active and independent.
