Before veterans can use their VA benefits at a company-sponsored apprenticeship program, motor carriers must obtain up to dozens of approvals. The Veterans’ Transition to Trucking Act would cut through this red tape by empowering the VA to provide the sole approval. This legislation authored by Reps. Great news! 🎉 $200 million has been proposed to expand truck parking. This would build on the $200 million investment in last year’s funding bill. According to ATRI, truck drivers sacrifice nearly an hour of drive time per day to secure safe parking. We thank Rep.
